Things were a bit different then compared to now. Chiefly, we play away games differently and have greater strength in depth. We're coping with Sanchez, Cazorla, Coquelin, Wilshere, Welbeck and Rosicky well enough. Sanchez is likely to be playing in time for Chelsea, and I'd hazard that he's fit enough to play now and that we're being cautious. Before, an injury to Ramsey was all it took to kill our campaign.
Things are different now. Liverpool aren't going to challenge for the title this season. It's still going to be interesting, but things are not the same.

True, but in the past 7 season, our record at Anfield is 3 wins, 3 draws and only one lose. Admittedly a huge one. Not a bad record.

If we can do that, then Im pretty confident we can get 3 points from this game, if not, then we may suffer a long night at Anfield.
Arsenal are not far off the back of a 4 nil thrashing from a pretty poor Southampton, so maybe the OP needs reminding of this before being so gung ho about his teams chances of thrashing Liverpool in a midweek game at Anfield.

Predicting a tough game tonight, not sure if we have the current personnel in midfield to deal with Liverpools high energy pressing game, plus the anfield support will surely be up for this one.
I think whoever scores first tonight will go onto counter effectively and win a by a few goals.
Both teams at full strength i'd heavily fancy us, but at the present time, Liverpool are more than equipped enough to hurt us at their ground, tough call, will wait and see what happens.
