All to play for Goofy. It's not over yet. You see Spurs loss yesterday. Wasnt expected, was it?

All can happen. If you play committed against United like you did yesterday you should be alright.

Yeah of course need to play better defensively but hey United not so good upfront.

Hard to beleive we're still so close to 4th, with players retuning from injury at least we can begin to have a strong first 11 with a few decent options off the bench.

I still think we have no hope of 4th unless Studge get's fit for the rest of the season, we'd be a different side with him in it, if a fit Studge played last night at the tempo we did we win that game IMO.

The problem is we always feel positive after performances like last night, but then we go and screw up against the mediocre teams and dross of the league.

We won't make top 4 IMO.

I think we will ultimately fall short as we have too many weaknesses.

We will be a good side under Klopp in time though. I am already looking forward to next season.

That's not to say this one is written off. I think we can win at least 1 cup and it will be interesting to see how far we can get in the Europa (I suspect QF at best but we will see).

I think this season has a similar feel to Rafa's first season. Good highs when we looked like we were on to something, with also terrible lows where we looked bereft of anything.

That season ended falling short in the league but doing very well in two cups with a final in one and a win in the other.

I see a similar scenario developing this season.

We are not far from being a very competitive team but with all the games I think we will just fall a bit short in the league. I can't see us catching Leicester now, they are gone for us IMO. That leaves Utd and Spurs realistically and finishing above both is a very tall order.

We will have to beat both at Anfield, starting this weekend...

agree with this, it's all a learning curve for Klopp and he's barley got a chance to do proper trainign with the squad cause it's game, recover, game, recover at the moment.

As long as Klopps learns his lessons this season, like say when we play West Brom next season Klopp is aware of how a Pulis side will play and be able to look at ways we can deal with their style.

Yeah I'd agree i don't think we'll finish above Leicester and Spurs. Possibly utd but we haven't been on a winning streak all season. It would take a monumental amount of good fortune for top4 but sadly imo we'll fall short.

Its going to take you years to get a decent side together honestly. You should give klopp time

TBlock I think fans will be very patient with Klopp, he's got the personality and the record to back it up unlike say Rodgers had.

Its not gonna happen boys....we just cqnt put a run of 3-5 games without erratic performances from our defence and our goalie...

i would snap your hand your off for a l

He needs 5-10 years. He is the right man for the job. I doubt he will get it though. Which is an issue. Look at the likes of United under fergie and arsenal under wenger. They get the time so they can build for the long term. You need to give your manager the confidence to build for the long term.

Try factoring in a fit Sanchez, or Coquelin or Cazorla, or Wilshere. I could go on!

Not necessarily.

Nobody expected Rodgers to take us from 8th to 2pts off being Champions, Rafa took a squad that limped to 5th yet won the CL in his first season. I'll grant its unlikely, but LFC have proved they can punch above their percieved weight quite regularly.

Plus IMO the top PL sides just arn't that good anymore. The league is more unpredictable now then it has been for a long time.

c'mon guys, our defence really isn't as bad as it seems at the moment.
although our goalies all seem capable of the most horrific howlers and soft goals at the moment.

the first goal we let in yesterday was really sakho's fault, he should have intercepted that. although considering the head impact he'd just had, i think it's only fair allow him some moment of grogginess/slowness to react, that said, it seemed all our other players also stopped. maybe they anticipated the ref stopping the game.

it's our lack of fit and clinical strikers which is really hurting us. with those in the team, we'd be able to push teams deeper into their own half a lot more, relieving what seems, at times this season, the unrelenting pressure on our defence.
plus the ability to consistently score multiple goals each game would give us a lot more points and negate the adverse effects of conceding the odd counterattacking goal, or mignolet/bogdan inexplicable howler.

someone like suarez would be ideal for this team

All to play for. Still a lot of games this season and if some of our players actually start finding some form who knows

I don't 'expect' it but I'd not be surprised to sneak top 4

Irrespective of where we finish, JK has a lot of work to do but his record suggests he won't shy away from that

If you see the contract talk for SM disappear over the next couple of weeks then it would suggest JK means serious business!
