Evina shoots just over the bar from range.

Williams has a chance to score the winner, but he blasts it over the bar.

I am happy, got more than I thought 30 mins ago.
Have a great week gentlemen.
Onward and upward.
Hope Stewart is OK

Great point thought when Stewart came on it changed the game hope he's ok was a horrific fall.

A bit of composure by Williams at the end wins us the game but never the less a great point.

We need to improve desperately at the back as again poor goals to concede.

We just keep going though Azza, no crowd given as yet.

Absolutely NY. We need to start being more authoritive at home as we seem to just wait for teams to come onto us then after half time we're a different team more zip and quicker passing creates some good openings. I've said it since day 1 we're a great bet for both teams to score as we always score but ship ones in as well! Onto the cod army!

What's this about pot and kettle? I have just read Justin Edinburgh's thoughts on the game. First thing is the ref gave them the game by awarding that free kick. What about all the others that he should have given and didn't.

Somehow sounded very Dickov like.

He says the keeper didn't have to make a save for 60 minutes. But the game lasts for 90. They had plenty of chances to put the game to bed and didn't, is that the ref's fault as well.

You have to remember that Gillingham are a top side in our division and we more than matched them for most of the game.
Sure, they missed some chances but so did we.
I disagree with the earlier comment about Coppinger being rusty.
He was good from start to finish today and caused lots if problems for the Gills, especially in the second half.
Butlers injury may not be too bad but it reinforces the need to bring another CB in.
Overall we were well worth our point today and Louth, it wasn't a disappointing game.
Intact it was a good game to watch.

Just read the Gill's manager's after match comments. I agree with NY, he must have gone to the "Dickov School for After-match Comments".

Looking forward to the highlights tomorrow.

And of course they won the game in September via a dubious did-it-cross-the-line goal. I see that they also committed 6 times as many fouls as us (13 - 2).

I was going by the text on the BBC web site Hound. It was really poor this week.
Anyone know the attendance ?

posted on 17/1/16

The Official Website says 4,876 - can this be true? Do Rovers have so many fair weather I only come for a win fans?

posted on 17/1/16

Louth, i realised that mate but was just giving you a heads up from someone who was at the game.

PDX - no way was the crowd as low as 4876.
There had been a power cut a few hours before the game and apparently a knock on was that the turnstiles were not registering numbers through the gates.
Giving that "official attendance" may be tax beneficial to the club.

PDX, i had a look on the DROS and cant see where they are giving that information.
What heading is it under please?

posted on 17/1/16

Mickey and Hound, if you look at the DROS it shows the result of the home game against Fleetwood with the attendance as 4,876.

It does not refer to the game yesterday although I would imagine as the power cut was very widespread across the area, a lot of fans were doing things connected with it rather than going to the game.

Posters on VSC have put the figure at around 6,500 but they are only summising.

Well, I took the number from what is published on the fixture list page on the official site as the attendance last Saturday for the Gillingham game - and the 4876 is still there as at 18:00 PST.
