P.S. Not sure I wanted AFC Telford tagging in this but you never know, they may have some players good enough to get into our XI this season!
If we don't win tomorrow it will be one win in 9 league games.
We either need to sack him or bring in some reinforcements. Sadly it looks like neither is happening
I agree Robb. Oddly, I don't even see us being linked with many players. Normally we're linked with 2 or 3 new signings a day during a transfer window but not at the moment!
Who's good enough and available though? Not many I guess
Thats why I think we will win the league this season.
It is easier for clubs like Newcastle to sign players than for us.
Would you have preferred we sign Shelvey
Not implying that at all MUDD (plus he's a $cumbag), just wish we'd act and do something to try and improve for the rest of the season. Maybe we are, just keeping it quiet
He's not being sacked because his successor is coming in summer and might not be pep either. The club probably don't see point of having 3 managers in 6 months rather than just two. Lvg will see out season and that will be.him done.

Don't be so certain. If we lose tomorrow and drop more points next week he may well go. He isn't here no matter what. If top 4 starts to slip away he's toast.

This is what I am hoping for.
I think the decision to keep him was made a few games back when he survived the games between Wolfsburg and Stoke. If the club is happy with that fair enough, but feck me, at least back him financially so we still are in the Champions League at the end of the season.
We can only sign someone if the right player becomes available. And that seldom happens in January. The type of players that are available, let's be honest, aren't ones that we would be interested in.
People keep going on about changing the manager, but it's obvious the club don't want to make a short-term change, and see our current situation as manageable under LVG, and expect things to improve under him. We may agree or disagree with this, but whilst we are still not that far away from top 4, they will maintain this view.
I still think we will finish top 4, because regardless of this current bad spell, we are still thereabouts, and it wouldn't take that much of an improvement to get back into the thick of things. I get everyone is doom and gloom, but a couple of decent results can build up confidence again.
the only logical and sane reason I can think of for why he has not been sacke is
"pep is in fact coming to utd in the summer "
Not just pep guys. There's 5 or 6 quality managers that could move in summer. Pep is not the messiah. He's not the be all.
How bad Chelsea have been, many expert pundits tips to be a clear step ahead of the rest to the title 19 points behind Leicester City. If we win we are 7 points behind Leicester City so it is not all doom and gloom. I am always amazed where Southampton are as they deserve to be far higher up but now they are picking up to more closer to where they deserve to be.

I would like us to get someone like Bielsa in if LVG goes.
1. Pep - obvious one
2. Jose - one bad season doesn't make him poor. Incredible record.
3. Conte - Already said he misses day to day involvement and will step down from Italy after euros.
4. Blanc - seems very happy at.psg and they are eager to keep him but he may be persuaded with a fresh challenge. Ligue 1 isn't a challenge for anyone managing psg. Its the minimum expectation.
5. Diego Simeone - talented no nonsense coach. Quite remarkable job he's done at Atletico.
6. Allegri - apparently would relish a chance In.Pl after juve stint.
I sure there are others too. Pep isn't everything.
Here's a stat for you..... Since we last played Liverpool at Anfailed we have played 29 league games; Won 12, drawn 9, and lost 8, We have scored just 37 goals (less than 1.3 goals a game) and conceded 30.
If this kind of form continues we would finish with around 60 points (Possibly up to 10 points short of top four). That point tally usually averages 7th or 8th in the table.
And some still want LvG to stay
We still picked up more points then Liverpool by probably around 6 points.
We could get beat 5-0 at anfield tomorrow and VG will still be the manager for the next game
He's already handed in his retirement date
He had told the world don't expect ant signings at uNited this window.
And threatened the b of d with him possibly walking away if people stop being unkind to him.
His current form is pathrtic. Cancel that. It's relegation form.
What's this all about then?
LVG has turned us into the best team in the premierleague this season.
Liverpool goal difference at anfield is +0 so hard to lose 5-0.
TBH outside of the injury hit December our form has been fine this season. That is why he hasn't been fired.
