On topic. Townsend is a decent player. A premier league class player given good support. His final product does lack though at times.

The watford goal was an excellent individual solo goal, yes the watford player made a mistake but it was Lamela who took the ball from near the Halfway line and produced the run and excellent finish. Your talking boll** mate if you think that was layed out for him. Infact that's something typically chicken would say

Benny, I'm not getting involved in another Lamela v Townsend debate mate. It will just go the way every other thread does. It's about getting 14mil for an average player and hopefully us spending it on a striker we desperately need. Lamela shouldn't even come into the equation

Yeah hopefully a decent striker who doesn't mind getting zero supply from our record transfer.

You would expect him to create more seeing as Townsend is only ever used as a sub when he has been in the squad. I don't know the stats but I'm guessing there very marginal.

It's hardly a flawed argument, Lamela offers nothing but work rate and neat passes. End of.

Now you're contradicting yourself as you said earlier that all he others is hard work but now saying others work hard around him.
