It'll be just £15m, or about £8m + Sturridge.

If that was true then I would be so happy!

I'm hearing 15Million + Sturridge

I'd take that if I was Kenny

20 mil and Sturridge and it's a deal

Rumours are abound it's because Bellamy is signing and Meireles is worried about his safety!

They gave us 50 (yes FIFTY) million for Torres. It is possible.

Any amount of money plus Sturridge would be a good deal, but as the Bellamy deal has been announced (LFC TV) do we really need Sturridge as well? I can't see it.

I reckon we already have another player lined up to be announced at some point soon and it will be straight cash for Mereilles.

Sturridge or nothing. What use is money when you can't spend it for 4 months?!

posted on 31/8/11

Can't see us getting Sturridge now that Bellamy has been confirmed. Surely we wouldn't have signed Bellamy if we could get Sturridge. Wouldn't let Meireles go out of principle.

Personally I think he's a big tart who pull out of way too many tackles, alas its prob too late to now anyhow

Apparently, the transfer request enables the move to go through quicker, as he forfeits the right to any pay off??

Surely nothing can happen in five minutes, I'm sure Kenny will not allow Merieles to leave without a replacement of sort, whether it's Sturridge going other way etc. There isn't enough time for clubs to accept or consider offers and act on them, even with fax machines.

We don't really need to replace Mereiles, we were already struggling to pick a team when Gerrard gets back and I think we have enough attacking options now anyway.

As Dowie just said on ss we must have known about this earlier than 10pm. I'm guessing Raul is already in West London.

Aren't Chelsea on a final warning from Uefa and Fifa for tapping-up players? After Torres last January (please tell me that Torres nor his agents ever got a share of the £50m RA sent our way - don't care if the Russian gave them all a £1bn in brown-envelopes, if it came from him), then Modric and now Meireles, surely there comes a point when even the Football Authorities are ashamed of taking Roman's bribes to keep sweet.

What makes you think he's been tapped up?

Major error. Comolli and KK has alot to answer for tomorrow! Where was his replacement? We should have had a plan B!

Luis Carroll - We won it 5 times (U9089)

You're showing your true colours. Nobody here believes you are a genuine red.

Chelsea. Transfer. Roman Abramovich. Plastic, tacky club.

Need I continue?
