A pointless player. Useless!

Flamini has actually been better than is made out this season. He's been quite consistent, not as bad as I thought. He's obviously not good enough, but fair play to him, he's done alright.
Ramsey is just too inconsistent. We so badly miss coq and cazorla, not control in midfiled at all. Until they both start playing again, we'll drift further and further from the top.

Difference was that Ramsey was making tackles ie doing Flamini job at the back. His passing was dreadful. Flamini on the other hand was what you call out of his depth. One of the worst performances ever

i thought theo, ramsey and obviously merts very disappointing & Ozil was pretty ineffectual - I actually think if he'd have had Giroud to aim at off deadballs at least, he'd have been better

From the start we were outplayed. Nobody looked up for it and Per looking at the linesman before sliding in on Costa, embarrassing

Flamini, Ramsey, Ozil, and Walcott had very poor performances--the difference is that Flamini did absolutely nothing of note. Offered no protection for the defense, didn't pressure Oscar or Fabregas, managed to get in position to score but not defend in midfield. Ramsey is supposed to be a box-to-box player, Flamini is supposed to be a seasoned DM--he should know his role and get into defensive positions.

Flamini was poor, but he actually cared and worked his àss off. Ramsay however...

Flamini wasnt our worst player.

Flamini is in for Coq and Ramsey for Santi. Flamini let the player run with the ball while he backed off to allow the pass that resulted in Merts red. Flamini also left the gap and ran out before they scored.

Ramsey read at least 2 passes and cut them out that would have had a player clear on goal. He made a numer of tackles and added some drive going forward. Not his best game but we had a lot of worse pmaywrs out there today.

Stop making excuses for Ramsey, he's a 24 year old multi millionaire midfielder for arsenal are you really saying he can't sit in with a clearly past it Flam for 20 mins to settle the game? It's clearly what was needed. But he cannot or simply will not fight that urge to bomb forward

Exactly.

Ramsey has a good game once in every ten games. Needs to wake up or get the fack out of the club

He might have made some decent tackles, but it doesn't change the fact that he was still poor.

Ramsey bombing forward wasn't the problem today, it was his inability to hold onto or pass the ball. He killed several attacks as a result. But he also offered a bit of both offense thrust, and outlet for the ball, and some midfield cover.

Flamini bombed forward more than Ramsey did--how else could he be in the box for three goal scoring chances, while Ramsey had none? Being down to 10 men, and Walcott playing abysmally, Ramsey also offered some width, especially when Sanchez cut in.

I'm not excusing his performance; he was more destructive toward Arsenal then against Chelsea during moments. But Ramsey had a better performance than Flamini--for fack's sake, Fabregas just glided past him in the first half

Nobody covered themselves in glory mate, fact remains Ramsey does not want to defend, fine when we have coq not so much without him

Those of you blaming Flam for this performance need to consider that today was him playing near capacity, ramsey couldn't be @rsed with anything that wasn't gonna see his name on the back pages

Tldr; flamini physically cannot affect games defensively, Ramsey had the attributes to just not the desire. Unforgivable for a player at this level
