The sign of a broken poster is when they don't come back at all. That's when you know that THEY know that they're out of their depth.

Another humorous sign is when they take a long time to come back and then when they do, the response is absolutely feeble. I had someone exhibit both behaviours on here with me, just a few days ago.

Personally I have never filtered anyone or ever deleted a comment, purely for that reason. So yes, you are right that it's a massive sign of weakness. Filtering is for wimps in my book.
