I'm playing call of duty (killing folk) as I like to call it. I don't like football games, I get beat by three year olds. I'm crap! But I'm quite good at this game, even though I'm drunk.

Good Morning fellas
Hmm, A bit disappointed with that , although on reflection,
Cardiff are higher placed, ! The league doesn't lie & all that

I think I'm more annoyed, that another transfer window passes by, and blatant problems are no addressed !
Over 4 decades ago (nigh on 5 ) Ian Greaves admitted the 'classic' lie that he'd told us after promotion.."We are looking for the right players, When they are available, we'll get them in".. years later he confirmed he had to cover up the deceit, that the club had no money available for him.
Only difference being, back than, there probably was no money 'available'.

So on that sour note.
5 board room conspiracies from me UTG.(good write up)

How are you liking the cool overcast weather 'Agent 69'
This is a fantastic mid summer reprieve

Re- the old games.. About 10 years ago, I used to like the Superbike TT race game. But we did used to say..No way would we have the bottle to ride it in real life like the risks we took with a 're-start' button.
I noticed last years times on the island were quicker than what we were doing on the play station

Hutchinson, McGunessDunlop, Anstey etc etc.....
Amazingly LARGE testicles ,

It could be a massive gamble to not address the issues in defence. In fact, it would be unforgiveable if Town were to get relegated. However, I believe Wagner speaks the truth and he will strengthen with the players he wants, when they become available.

I don't mind the dip in the weather conditions Darn, it was getting too humid. I suppose you can thank El Nino for that.

Fernando Torres, what's he got to do with your weather

Have you seen Gary Roberts's goal yesterday? He took it well. Is anyone watching Andy Murray?

Just seen it on Facebook, a sad day, he was very professional and he did a lot for charity.

Hydy, by my reckoning, there were three 'moments' in Wagner's interview. πŸ˜‰

We'll have to disagree about "When they become available" LV,
It is priority, 2 minimum at the moment, One attacker, One defender. You have to seek 'em out.
As ever, 'He's (Wagner) been given no brass .

Compare,
Boro, flying high at the moment, No way has Gibson the 'play money' Olive has at his disposal. And they pursued RHODES & got him by the sounds of it.
When have we ever been looking at a 10 mill quid player to improve an already well performing 'eleven'..

Wagner would do wonders with two quality signings.
We all know it.
frustrating,

FFP Darn...

If we spent probably 2 million on one player, chances are we'd be transfer embargoed the next season.

Until they stop giving failed Premier League teams 25 million a season as a prize for overspending on crap which gets them relegated, then we've no chance of competing financially in this division.

I honestly cannot believe the chairmen in this league have not protested about this ridiculous scheme. Blackburn...relegated....£8M for Rhodes......Fulham....relegated.....£11M for McCormack....

Sure, neither club have exactly benefitted but the fact they can come down and cherry pick from "progressive" clubs is bollox. Sure, clubs are nicely recompensed for losing their star player, but just try get a replacement when clubs know you've 10M in the bank...and so the circle continues.

Parachute payments....fork off.

Fortune favours the brave!

Steve gibsons nowhere near as rich as arkwright yet they are going for it and it will pay off...gibbo will get his investment back and the club will be minted for the next 4 or 5 years

Arkwrights approach will end in relegation
