Only one person reported it so far, Ben Jacobs from TalkSport. Nothing from Sky or BBC to substantiate it, just this one fella and everyone is going off that.

Could all be complete bollox and he was just guessing and is now sweating and praying it happens. Nobody from Chelsea or Leicester seem to know anything about it but I hope it's true otherwise Ben Jacobs is going to look a right mug 😂

Independent, Express, Metro and Daily Star are all reporting it.

Mistake if true, like letting Lukaku go.....and Bamford.

Are we anti-striker?

Yeah all reporting what Ben Jacobs said 😉

Good all round. Doesnt fit with Chelsea or our style of play hence he has been pants for us.

I agree with Simon, whenever I see him play for you he looks lost

There could be a valid reason (like lack of playing time) but it's still true, you're not getting anything out of him.

Seems a good deal for everyone

Let's just hope it's true 😊

Good deal for both clubs, believe we even make a tiny profit for someone who's barely played.

Same if Bamford goes, not close to being Chelsea lone striker standard.

The important thing is who we replace them with in summer, going for the rest of the season with Costa, Pato and one more is fine considering we're basically just working our way towards a mid table finish. Next season though we need serious investment upfront.

Well personally I think Remy will show that he's much better than Pato, so it's certainly not fine with me.

I don't think it's the wrong decision to sell him. He's heading into his 30's soon so if we don't sell now he 'll leave for nothing in a year time.

Also he's not used much so we may as well cash in.

Btw he's a very good striker. Think he'll do well at Leicester. Hasn't had much playing time at Chelsea so looks out of touch sometimes (less then 200 minutes in the PL this season)

More like Strikerless, lol.

He's a good striker but he doesn't suit our team and that shows by the fact two managers haven't trusted him up front for us, preferring even Hazard there. Scoring goals for Leicester won't prove it was a mistake for us to sell him, if it did the clubs foolish for not signing Vardy!

Good buy for someone is remy. he is a very good player

posted on 30/1/16

Don't know what crack a few posters have been smoking but remy has been very good whenever he's come on for us bar the arsenal game. He's got a good ratio for goals to games and his movement is very good. It's near impossible for a a player to have a good record with the type of sporadic appearances he's had. Yet he's managed it.
Our club should really look at itself in disgust when these things happen. Demba ba, lukaku, salah, de bruyne, Sturridge, none given a proper chance. God knows demba ba wasn't the most technical player but his goals coring record for us was fantastic despite the way he was treated

Hahahahahaha you are trying to be funny yeh nick suggesting Remy has been goid for us......good one!

Nick yup I agree, despite never being given any kind of run of games needed to find proper form Remy's goals per minutes played ratio for Chelsea was very respectable.

Had he been given a proper run of games then I'm convinced he would have banged in the goals for us. Sadly he wasn't but our loss is undoubtedly Leicester's gain if that's where he ends up.

To be fair, if we're not using him getting our money back is good business. Surprised he's fetching 10mil+.

Once again, another demonstration that our negotiating has improved tremendously in the last few years. Five years ago he'd of gone for half that

Convinced Simon doesn't watch us. Just judges players on their last performance

Im afraid occasional getting a goal and being offside for the sub appearances does not equate to playing well. And im afraid Remy although i agree he didnt get much time, and this certainly could be a factor never played well for us.

But as I have always commented this is more a problem with cfc than Remy, we are too rigid and our plan b is in fact plan a.

Until we are able to change our play style when we bring on a different type of striker in the Remy mould all will be useless for us.

Now if you are unable to comprehend Nick and with your past record i would be more inclined to suggest you dont watch Chelsea or simply have no clue about football.
