Yeah, he did it on purpose....
Well that's one way of getting the boss' attention
If you watch the winning goal you will notice the excellent full back play that starts it
Obviously trying to get Oxlade-Chamberlain sent off.
So the defenders were not at fault for defending the cross?
Gibbs was one of the solid performers
Gibbs is a solid squad player. He's doing what's required.
He was trying to block what he thought would be a shot. Gibbs was probably our best defender today
Gibbs is still good. He has always been unlucky with injuries, and unfortunately for him Nacho has been immense since he's been in the team.
Won't be able to get a much better back up LB than Gibbs. He really cares as well. Could get an another player in, but if they play back up they could easy start to not give a crap, bit like Debuchy. At least with Gibbs he'll give a good effort each time. Good solid LB to have. Struggled with fitness, always does better after a good run in the team. But it's tough for him at the moment, gets slim chances, or is played out of position. Hard for him to get into any sort of form.

Gibbs is miles behind Monreal. Regressed massively.
