Why is it that managers like Guardiola always take the easy option? He was at Barcelona when he had probably the best three players on the planet all at their peak, and he then went to Bayern, which is virtually a one team league, and now he is coming to City, who can blow all competition out of the water with the amount of money they have. I just don`t get what sort of challenges are there. It can only be purely about money.

"How do you lot think the table will look come May (with your red/white tinted glasses off?"
The stats show that from the table on Jan 1 :
1. The winner is most likely to come from one of the top 3
2. The top 3 will be in the top 4 come May
3. The team who is 4th is in the most danger of finishing outside the top 4.
Go figure ...

Barca finished 3rd, 18 points behind Real Madrid and were a mess when he took over. Hardly "easy" to win the treble is it?
Ledley's
Barca had the three greatest players on the planet when he started at Barca, Messi, Iniesta and Xavi. Pretty easy really. And since he has left Barca are hardly short of trophies.
I have never and will enjoy any success for spurs.
It's not easy to win a treble, even less so in your first season as a manager of a senior team. To do so playing the football he had them playing is no mean feat.
