They are the owners. They can take out of the club what ever they want.

You would have reason to complain if they were not supplying managers with funds in the transfer market.

The cash cow will continue to be milked.

As long as revenues are maintained, why should the owners invest??

Indeed. Those nasty Glazer's really should not have frozen season ticket prices for 6 of the last 7 seasons.

I know the old arguments about them being owners but they are purely business men and we are in a bit of a mess now, manager wise, playing wise and at academy level too. Even if they haven't put a penny in they know sweet FA about football and our dithering with a plan and appointing top managers etc has been laughable.
They need to sort out the football issues now and not just worrying about getting more and more revenue streams and trying to cut costs in certain areas that will affect the football side !
We haven't won a trophy obviously since SAF retired and there were other times when SAF claimed there was no value in the market and we bought dross. He was obviously hamstrung by the debt put on the club.
Imagine if just half of that money have been invested in some of the really top players. I know now because of the Adidas deal and TV money we are always being reported as having the funds now to blow almost everyone except City out of the water but it certainly hasn't manifested itself on the pitch yet.
Perhaps a director of football is needed with these lot at the helm.

I know missing out on CL football is estimated to cost £60-70M from something I read recently and depending how far you progress of course. You would really think and hope that they would want us to win titles and cups!
The share price is well down too atm but that's not actually related to how the team are doing right now, more to do with the general jitters about China,oil prices, the economy etc etc

They are not going anywhere. They each get around £10m a year out of Utd why would they sell up?

I really doubt they lose much sleep if we finish 4th as opposed to 5th which may interrupt their deep sleep !
They just look at those figures and rub their hands.
I do expect them to get so much richer when the day comes they can negotiate every United game and people can choose to pay to view any game wherever they are in the world.

I swear people just develop certain mindsets and breathe life into it.

I dare say you are one of the 250 million spent crew? Is that because they care or don't care? How can you think about something for years but manage to come up with such incoherent trains of thought?

What have the glazers done wrong since fergie left?

1. Hired a manager backed by fergie.

2. Let him spend ( waste) 70 million in 8 months and fired him when he could not achieve his goals

3. Hired a world renowned manager, backed him with a further 250 million for 18 months

4. Still managed to not raise prices to games unnecessary.

5. Continue to increase the earning power of the club.

Basically the only wrong thing they have done is GIVING TIME TO A REPUTABLE MANAGER TO TRY AND SOLVE THE PROBLEMS THE TEAM IS FACING. did I miss anything? It truly is exhausting sometimes.

Just how many other owners of United did not have a view of making profit from it? Even abramovic wants to run a profitable team.

Which clubs have football men as owners ?

First bog all the club has come out and quashed that stupid story about the cuts.

Second, why should they leave their cash cow? Even if they did, do you believe another owner will not take money out of the club?
