There's some kind of countdown on for GTA 2

How long left?

9 hours I think?

I've had a little look into this and the bad news is its actually nothing.

Look like it originated ages ago and people at first believed it was going to be an announcement for GTA2 to be released onto Xbox live in some format.

Can I ask...does the countdown that you can see go up or down? And is there a date set 3 weeks from now? If so it's something to do with the tag line of the game being "3 weeks in the future". This might give you an idea of what I'm getting at: http://gtaforums.com/topic/442560-gta2-countdown/

I was kinda hoping it might have been a remake using the current game engine. Be nice if they could revisit the older games and make them play like GTA V.

Agreed. Still the best ending of any game I've played. Probably the only time my eyes have actually filled up at anything pixelated

Be nice to have either a prequel or, even better, the chance to carry on Jack's story.

Could be Max Payne 4 , loved number 3 you could have some proper shootouts in that game.
