Yeah have to agree, just said the same in another thread. There is enough motivation for Theo to do well giving him the start in this game!

walcott was up top against chelsea. he is out of form, can we just accept this and move on. I actually think wenger made a mistake by bringing walcott on instead of ox on wednesday.

Ox has hardly been on form either although he did play well in his last game. Ox doesn't score goals so you would probably have to sacrifice JC for the OX and leave Giroud up front.

Giroud out of form
Walcott out of form
Ox out of form
Ramsey out of form
Kos out of form
Bellerin out of form

Theres ore than just form to this. A lot has got to do with the players hat have been availabel and the effect on the team. Most notably was Coq's absence which puts a lot more pressure on other players defensively and affects their confidence both in possession and when defending. Having this "rock" at DM buys a bit of time and confidence in the other players. Not bringing in cover as early as possible in the transfer window was a huge mistake by Wenger and now Coq is coming back I am hoping to see confidence spread through the team.

I'd go with Theo up front because, as I said on another thread earlier, the tactic opposition sides have used to cause us to drop points is to push up high and compress midfield, safe in the knowledge that Giroud can't harm them from a high linie. Theo up there will open up space and I think he will relish the chance to play there again, although it couple take a couple of games for him to re-adjust to playing there.

Walcott went up front againat Chelsea but we were playing with 10 men.

Problem is that I think Bournemouth will sit back today which isn't going to suit is unless we score early

Everyone knows how to take points off us with Giroud up front. If he starts I would expect Bournemouth to play a high line. If Walcott starts they may well sit back.

Again it's going to come down to the Mf today.

Our Mf has been so poor lately. Someone like Ramsey really needs to step up today

Giroud is the new Denilson. Watch his play closely, specifically for the number of times his contribution allows the defence to get back in position and defend against us.
