I actually think Stubbs has done well and has a future in the game but it's maybe too early for him.
Honestly I would say if you are looking at cheap options from Scotland then neilson is a better bet. Hearts look fixed in 3rd after being promoted and if they improve again nothing to suggest they couldn't compete at Aberdeen level
I think his appointment was like our players an appointment of get them in when they've done well at a lower level and hope the step up.
Saying it was wrong from the start isn't fair on anyone.
You can only judge someone when they've faced sustained adversity. That is what we are going through or rather he is going through.
How he comes out of it will be the deciding factor on his future.

Let's be honest we're hardly going to get someone in with a proven European pedigree or a wealth of managing in these competitions.
Moyes would probably be a bridge too far as he'd want too much in wages and probably want to manage his own back room staff and transfers... Peter would rather jobby in his hands and clap than give a manager such power!
Stubbs, whilst doing a good job at Hibs, I don't think we should go for at this moment, plus he'd no doubt wanna see out the season there and try to get them promoted.
