Apparently West Brom had more shots on target during the penalty shoot-out than in the previous four matches!

Such a poor side went through I thought Darren Fletcher was going to hit it left and either on the post or out as Man Utd bottlers are always bound to miss although his equaliser in the game meant they had the chance to go through and they did. Heck I should have taken the penalties.

Interesting game. For once Pulis must surely attack. We've got defenders missing. With Everton away coming up we need to win and win inside 90 minutes. Would rather lose than go to penalties.

But you're right, we have to attack, and in every game too against lower league opposition and the Villas and the Newcastles, who should also be lower league.

Just got home.

Gutted but cracking performance from the lads.

Just needed a bit more composure at times in the final 3rd.

Didn't fancy us on pens and so it proved.

West Brom have a job on to stay up if they keep playing like that.

We had a centre half at right back, another centre half playing his first game for 3 months, the left back starting about his first game of the season, two attacking players ineligible and a 16 year old on the bench.
