14/15 won the league - no struggle
13/14 comfortable 3rd - no struggle.

United on the other hand, have struggled to get it since Fergie left:

2013/14 - nowhere near it, struggled bad

Winning the title is one position. You finished the best you could, and the worst you could to win it, there is no grey area.

CL qualification is four places. You finished in the 4th of those positions.

Winning the title - comfortably qualifying for the CL

Finishing 4th - bare minimum, still not guranteed as you have a qualifier to play

None of that changes the fact we finished in the bare minimum position to win the title so using your logic is must have been a struggle.

Given it wasn't a struggle the only thing that is at fault here is your logic which must be wrong as it doesn't work.
