we have a cup final in 2 weeks at wembley..
still in the europa which means more midweek games...
trying to get some sort of form together in the league...

If it was a wum for Liverpool fans don't you think it would be on the Liverpool forum. It's an interesting questions for fans, would you play a weakened team in the FA Cup.

The kids didn't play well enough, and when it came down to it the better players were brought on. The point is would most fans not consider the FA cup more important than the league when you are midtable.

I don't come on the bloody Tottenham Spurs board to read about Liverpool that's for sure for crying out fookingloud

Several so called Liverpool "fans" bombard our board with tripe day after day that's why a few of them have been filtered. They still think it's the 80's where Liverpool dominated the top flight of English football.

Good article OP, I just cannot fathom out the modern managers that think it is good to get their teams knocked out of cup competitions. Not only does it disrespect the competition and their fans, it make the manager look like a complete amateur. I just don't get it, WTF would you want your team not competing for every trophy they enter?

The realistic best they can hope for is a Europa place by league finish.

Win the FA Cup and you also get that.

Win the Europa and there is a bigger prize still.

Spurs fans have been waxing lyrical about Pork playing youngsters and how he's brought them through. Klopp believed that these young players could get the job done and I think he was proved right, even though we lost. Our first team had already lost to West Ham twice this season FFS

I cannot believe how Klopp is performing either, I think he may have just got lucky at Borussia, and inherited some good players. He don't look any better than your average championship manager at the moment. Don't see him lasting long.

I see no big issue in blooding youngsters, and even sacrificing a cup for the league if needed, but in this case I think it'd be better to give your youngsters the league experience if anything - the league is pretty dead to you now.
