How's the Spanish govt. doing ioag? Any more horror stories? Good read last time
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Nothing new under the sun really. Several corruption trials going on at the moment, plus new arrests being made linked to cases both old and new.
Month and a half since the general election and we still haven't got a new gov't. There's a chance of the left-wing parties forming a coalition gov't, but the socialist party (pseudo-left) is coming under all sorts of pressure -both from without and within- to coalesce with the right.

i reckon someone will at some point come in with a 30 million bid, and Leicester would sell for around 40.
you keep saying we dont need the money like its 5 million.
any club in a similar standing to Leicester would seriously consider a 40 million bid.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Club in a similar standing? Our owners are billionaires and the club will make a fortune so no they won't be interested in £40m. These are succesfull businessmen not mugs and they're not in it for the money. That is an absolute fact so sets us apart from a lot of clubs. Don't underestimate their ambitions.
just because they are billionaires, it doesnt mean they are going to pump everything theyve got into Leicester city now does it.
but the socialist party (pseudo-left) is coming under all sorts of pressure -both from without and within- to coalesce with the right.

It'sonlyagame, don't you think that Podemos is putting the most pressure on PSOE?

Debatable I suppose. They might be focusing a lot of the attention, but I'm quite sure there's a lot more going on behind the scenes. The financial powers that be don't want Podemos anywhere near the gov't, probably for good reason.
The socialists are supposedly trying to work out a coalition with Podemos, yet there are plenty of people trying to push them towards the PP & C's - starting with their own regional barons, González and quite a number of other influential members of previous socialist gov'ts.
Podemos don't have many cards in their hand, but I think they've played them right in that if they do finally get into gov't, great for them; if the PSOE go in with PP/C's, it would vindicate Podemos's view of being the only left wing option. If there's a new election, they'll be able to tell voters that PSOE copped out and wasn't ready to embark on the reforms required.
It's all getting a bit tedious though. Wake me up when something happens!
