Carp indeed, although I never saw this coming. Gives much need confidence boost for the club and fans. We can now look forward to getting the points we need and cup run to boot.

Reading away next up and a chance to get in the QF of the cup for the second year running.
Then a home game against Palace who are the team in the worst form in the entire league. Win that and we're practically safe!
What a Carp season.
Pulis is very underrated. You will never get relegated with him in charge. But he will get you midtable maximum. If you turn greedy and sack him then you will pay for it
On the flip....
....the football can be hideous at times.
Not today though. We defended tremendously and broke with pace.
It isn't bad, but then you compare to a club that is of equal standing to you in Leicester and it looks feckin crap.
Leicester are making Manchester United, Manchester City and Chelsea look crap.
Talking of crap, how did the game against MK Dons go? Never mind, I'm sure that was just a blip. You're still well on the way to becoming an established Championship club.
Oh wait, it gets worse, it was Preston.
Yes JH, I have to agree it is a carp season. We could be safe and in the top half of the table by now if it wasn't for the footballing anti-Christ. Pulis Out !
We'd be in the relegation zone with this set of players if it wasn't for TP. No doubt.
We are 3 points off Liverpool and Everton and the top half. We are 9 clear of relegation.
Just need Villa to lose today and it's a great weekend only spoilt by Man Utd.
Mind you, Liverpool are so shiiit atm that I would not be shocked by a Villa win.
How bad are Man Utd?!! Useless let downs.
And watching Villa roll over to Liverpool reminds us that, no matter how bad you think things are, there's always someone worse off than you.
West Brom's defensive display by numbers:
66 clearances
31 blocks
18 aerial duels won
13 interceptions
0 goals conceded
The Pulis Way.
Fantastic rear guard action but those kind of performances against the better teams have always been there
The question will arise next game against Palace at home. And can we please not put in a display like the away game. They are a side woefully out of forum, we should be able to take the game by the scruff of the neck and try and win it from the start
Not nice resding JH..... Pity the attack stats weren't as high. Pulis Out.
Makes great reading imo.
Couldn't give a fudge about the attacking stats.
Everton 0-1 WBA is the only stat I care about.
A carp season that could and should have seen us on 40 points some games ago. But crap performances against Villa at home and Newcastle away put paid to that. TP needs to explain those performances, injuries notwithstanding, and I don't think he's got a satisfactory explanation.
It's football. Those results happen.
Should he come out and explain everytime we win a game aswell?
JH getting a hard on over some defensive stats!
You've gone a bit quiet over your favourite player's stats (Sick Vic).

Should he come out and explain everytime we win a game as well?
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Obviously not, because we know we have good players who can take the game to any opponents, and we can understand it when we win, or are beaten by better opponents.
What he has to explain is why he doesn't take the same approach against weaker opponents like Aston Villa and Newcastle United, and we end up getting one point out of six.
JH LAST WEEK:
“That team selection is pathetic.
Even us 'happy clappers' are running out of excuses for you Tony.”
“Next seasons Championship will be interesting.
Villa
Wolves
Blues
Albion”
JH THIS WEEK:
“32 points
All but safe
Comfortable mid table
£100,000,000 coming our way
Still in the FA cup
1 game away from the quarters
1 games away from wembo
Double the points Villa have
Top placed team in the W.Mids”

I have to agree with JH that, frustrating as it was to garner just two points from 3 teams lower than us, we have a lot going for us at the moment.
A second successive quarter final beckons and you know Pulis, unlike virtually all other PL managers, will put his best team out for Reading.
Furthermore I feel quite confident we will upset the PL applecart by beating Leicester in a few weeks.
