What a difference having striker(s) available makes
Sterling was very highly rated esp after his 5 goals in a youth game. Ibe was one of the youngest ever goal scorers in the football league. Both will have great careers imo
Got Better is still celebrating Arsenal win but he's coming back in a couple of hours for his usual crap
Sterling's better at giving pens away than ibe
Was never a pen, but that's about all the Ibe lovers have gong for them because everything else is against them.

Sterling is better than Ibe. However, any follower of football knows that there is no guarantee that the case will be the same in say 3 or 5 or 7 years. They both have tools to be great players. Players don't mature at the same rate. Sterling could improve and leave Ibe in his wake or Ibe could harness his potential better and overtake him.
Come to think of it, this discussion is kinda moot.
Already stated its not a fair comparison but obv sterling was righteous1s 1st love or something
I just don't get the stick he gets.
Not many other 21 year olds as good as him around yet people act like he is rubbish. Just jealousy I guess.
Ibe has done absolutely nothing in his career to warrant comparison.
Ibe is ours and Sterling did the dirty on us that is the reason.
Sterling's stats are very good but he's not been impressive for city and I've watched them a fair bit
He will/should be a great player for city and England
He's always played with a much higher calibre of player than ibe so at this point any comparison is pointless
As raw potential goes i stick to my guess that ibe will be better
Who knows?
I don't get the 'he's played with better players' argument.
There's a reason he has played with better players.
He was good enough to get picked.
Disagree, he played with suarez, gerrard and a fit sturridge for a start. Then he gets to play with aguero silva and kdb. Put him in our struggling team with allen Milner hendo and can and he would do nothing of note as we saw with his poor form before he left us.
Great players make space and chances, they also take their chances more so the stats argument is flawed when comparing
He scored double figures last season.
Will Ibe?
I think Ibe has the edge physically and he's more of a handful dribbling, but he's a disaster in the final 3rd
plenty of time for him to develop and we most certainly should keep him, but he's a country mile behind Sterling because of the final 3rd issue
