He has surprised me how comfortably he has slotted in alongside Toby in JV`s absence.
He makes the odd rash tackle and picks up a few bookings but overall his play is very solid, as yet there have been no awful errors like we saw with Fazio.
He will only get better also, as he gets more experience of the PL. Looks like an absolute bargain in today`s crazy transfer market.

Good article Chronic.
He literally plays like a chronic of Vertonghen.
I've thought all along though, our impressive defensive record is more down to our style of play than our personnel.

He's a Mitchell and poch signing should we have ever doubted it???
This is dream stuff 10 points clear of 5th the double still on and last 32 in Europe coys

My comment was meant to say 'clone' instead of chronic... Bloody iPhone
Big fan on Wimmer. Wanted him to play more games earlier on in the season
Looks a steal at 4 mill , gives away a few silly fouls , Poch will beat that out of him .
Certainly better than that lump of shat Spazio.

Well we have a *** of riches. Bot much point in talking about Vertonghen versus Wimmer. We have them both and we're lucky. We need them both, given the number of games we have to play.
Just hope Alderweireld stays fit .... he's played every league match this season.
And Dier .... don't forget Dier. Its a TEAM, mates.
I'm very pleased with how Wimmer has played in replacing Vertonghen to partner Alderweireld in central defence, I'm so hoping they both stay injury free until the end of the season. And if Davies and Trippier were preferred to Rose and Walker as full backs, I won't have a problem with that. Dier is very important in strengthening our midfield.
We were slightly lucky to win today as there's no way Sterling handled the ball in any way, ridiculous decision by Clattenburg. But City never deserved to win the match even though a draw would've been a fair result on the balance of play. I just hope both FA Cup and Europa League isn't a major distraction on Premier League itself. This is an exciting season for Spurs fans, would be fantastic to win a trophy and I'd be delighted if we do.
Clattenburgh knows Sterling and his tricks better than we do. referees have a book on players wiles.
So, I give Clatternburgh the benefit of the doubt here.
Anyways, Clattenburgh has given odd decisions against us in the past, as many a fan on here will attest to. Some didn't want him as a referee today.
Well, we got lucky.
The odd decsion went our way today. And Kane didn't miss.
So,.... what goes around, comes around.
