Brilliant article. Is OP still around or topped himself yet?
I'd hate to be on a donkey when danger comes, like when a bear pops out of the woods how do you keep yourself busy while the donkey stands still figuring out what to do?

i spent the weekend going up n down two flights of stairs carrying various heavy and not so heavy items. pausing only to watch Napoli game and blaspheme

Should have got a donkey to help you

donkeys r grate
they are very sure-footed and reliable
they safely transport children along dangerous cliffside paths
when they come across a problem, they stand still and work out a solution then move on rather then like most animals who jump around panicking
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Would one be helpful in carrying boxes up and down in an apartment?

As for arrow being more northern than I will ever be. I was born in Walton Hospital and lived on and around Sheil road between 1962 and 1977 when my family moved to the Wirral so yeah I suppose I did live south of Anfield
