The problem is that blanket predicting guarantees points rather than random predicting so it is like a free pass to me.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

No it doesn't. All games could have ended in draws and away wins.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

For the first time in history i guess they could have.

But we both know that is incredibly unlikely.

There have been a few times this season when there has only been one or two home wins in a round of fixtures in the Championship, so I doubt it would be the first in history.

I don't really see the problem. Nothing would stop you from putting a home win for every game, if each score was different. As a one off, for someone who is saying they don't have the time to go through them, it seems reasonable.

Fact is tino had time to do his predictions but didn't.

You don't know that. That's you making an assumption.

MK Dons 1-1 Huddersfield
Preston 2-0 Charlton
Sheff Wed 2-1 QPR
Reading 2-0 Rotherham
Derby 2-1 Blackburn

Re "Tino2-0gate"
It makes no difference as there is no advantage and because it could be done in 1 min by hand anyway, about the same time it took to say he was away.

I am struggling with the concept of a predicting comp where there are restrictions on what you can predict.

As long as a prediction is in before kickoff, then it should be allowed.

He posted twice. If he is on his phone and can't copy and paste, then it is a lot more time consuming than typing three lines.

But blanket predicting isn't predicting is it?

It is the matter of not being bothered to predict so just sticking the same down for every game.

Goes against the point of any competition to me.

I can see you point if someone does it every week Cinci. However, it was a one off, so I don't see the problem.

So am I posting predictions for tomorrow
Or am I excluded from participation

Do what Penshawdave has done and post your predictions for the rest of this round.

posted on 22/2/16

What I'm asking is is it worth it if you won't allow the others or are you being reasonable and letting them stand?

Out of interest if I'd have gone
1-0
2-1
2-0
3-0
3-2
4-3
1-0
2-0

Would you have accepted them without complaint?

posted on 22/2/16

Absolutely. The fact is, it's not the first time you have been late and you had plenty of time to post your predictions. You and your sparring partner have been disruptive during this competition and I for one don't find it amusing. Play within the spirit of the competition.

You have plenty of time to post the remainder of this round.

I wasn't late it was Friday night on my way to Wales
Three people posted after me....did you tell them they were late?
I wasn't attempting to be disruptive I was attempting to post rather than drop out....

You mention me posting on the Saturday which is fair enough BUT you never at any point told me my "predictions" were invalid so why would I repost Saturday morning....my comment on the match thread was a simple

Going to the cafe anyone want anything.....hardly in depth

I'm not arguing any longer. Either post the remainder of this rounds predictions or drop out. Your choice.

I've mentioned before that blanket exact scores are not within the spirit of this competition. It's not done on any of the other competitions running this season. I suggest you post a little earlier, rather than leave it until the last minute.

Wow, I have filtered this poster ^^^^

No idea who, when or why

I can see why. Wulfrunnut is one of the most antagonistic posters on here.

Didn't realise I'd ever been filtered, that's made my day

I thought the object of the competition, like all competitions, was to win it

I thought my comment was quite measured and reasonable. Good job Wolfie isn't the President with that big red button on his desk!
