id stick with moyes
he is the man fergie has chosen for us and i can see what moyes is trying to do. give him time AND money and we can dominate again
no of those managers can do better without spending vast sums of cash.
Klopp - unproven, bundesliga is a poor league. his best achievement is getting to the CL final
Mourinho - cheque book manager
Ancelotti - not convinced about him
Barry Fry - err
Pep - not convinced about him. has taken over bayern and barca near their peak - other managers teams. has never built a dominating team of his own. Plus, Fat Sam can do what Pep did
Wenger - 9 years without a trophy
Hiddink - overrated, cant even get a proper job so chases money trying to get teams to qualify for world cups
==============================================
remember this classic from Heisenberg lads?

----------------------------------------------------------------------
And the caaaant had the audacity to call me clueless
----------------------------------------------------------------------
klopp is failing, wenger is still failing and maureen has been sacked twice. hiddink had failed too.
if anything that article i made to support moyes during our darkest times, has some truth in it
bravo me
----------------------------------------------------------------------
where would LVG go in that list?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
aww, so my article was right then? you think lvg is a failure along with the others on that list?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
no, I'm asking what you'd write alongside LVG's name?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
depends when asked me
if before moyes i'd be underwhelmed
after moyes then the right man to rebuild the club but a short term appointment with a suitable successor lined up
no idea who that'd be but definetely not these big name managers who hop clubs like ancellote, pep or mourinho
id love for us to have found someone like pochettino or even slaven billic (but better). koemans another shout
i definetely want someone in charge who'd be here for 5-10 years
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Giggs then, because no top managers these days stay at clubs for more than 3/4 years, get used to it
----------------------------------------------------------------------
not true
i think somone like pochettino could potentially be at spurs for a long time unless we poach him (wishful thinking)
if moyes was successful he wouldnt be going anywhere soon, he had a 6 year contract
----------------------------------------------------------------------
pochettino won't be at Spurs in 3 years time, and Moyes was never going to be at United more than a year because he was awful
----------------------------------------------------------------------
says who? if spurs win the title this season then theres no reason for him to leave
----------------------------------------------------------------------
because if he wins the league with Spurs a really big club will come in for him, like us, or Real Madrid

no managers have 'more class' than to go to Madrid, Carlo Ancelotti is one of the classiest guys in football and he rolled up at the Bernabeu, so did Pellegrini, Real Madrid is the biggest job in football, id question the ambition and bottle of a manager who wanted to stay at a club like Spurs over moving to Real
There is not a chance he would stay at Spurs.

fair enough, but arsenal to madrid is a big step up and im sure wenger would be rewarded handsomely in terms of money. that wouldn't be an issue
Wenger is the anomaly in world football, he sees himself as above everyone else on a moral plain, a demigod if you will, pompous ass
Of course Pochettino would leave Spurs for Madrid. It's the biggest club in the world. Spurs aren't even the biggest club in North London.
he'd be a fool if he did! he doesn't strike me as a fool!

Considering how bad both Manchester clubs have been this year, the fact he had a settled squad that didn't go through a transition in the summer and how well he knows all of them, I personally think he's done an awful job this season. It's been handed on a plate to them.
They might still win it, they should be way out in front considering though.

Why would he be a fool?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
because the madrid job is a joke.
why would he go somewhere where he has little chance of success, lots of politics and player power?
why? the fact the zidane comes out with bullshine like "me and ronaldo knows he's the best player in the world" speaks volumes about that club imo
Little chance of success?
He's far more chance of success at Madrid than at Spurs.

totally agree with this
wenger should be walking it this season
if leceister or spurs finish ahead of them then arsenal fans would not tolerate that. there'd be effigies being burnt and everything
can you imagine spurs finishing ahead of arsenal as champions after their 12 year drought
my god the gooners board would be a lot of fun.

this barca team will probably sweep up the trophies over the next few years
all it takes is for pocchetino to have a 5 game bad run and he'd be sacked
he wouldnt be allowed to stay and build a squad. instant success is required.
he took time to get going at both spurs and southampton. cant see him lasting 3 years at madrid.
Three years at big clubs is the norm. He'll be aware of that having managed in Spain and played there for years. He'd be a fool to not take the Madrid job.
Idiotic idea.
FYI. No players gonna be scared of a 75 year old ffs get a grip
I think all today has shown is that the premier league really is massively overrated right now and at an all time low.
This midgetland side have already knocked out 6th placed Southampton and now beaten 5th place Man Utd, i think that give you a clue as to how poor the prem really is.

not all managers want to go to madrid
both wenger and fergie rejected madrid from what i remember
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Wenger is unsackable and was the highest paid manager in the league, and Ferguson was at a huge club who were outperforming Madrid

I'm sure he would to Madrid. But not sure he would come to us.

fair enough, but arsenal to madrid is a big step up and im sure wenger would be rewarded handsomely in terms of money. that wouldn't be an issue

Wenger is the anomaly in world football, he sees himself as above everyone else on a moral plain, a demigod if you will, pompous ass

Of course Pochettino would leave Spurs for Madrid. It's the biggest club in the world. Spurs aren't even the biggest club in North London.

Considering how bad both Manchester clubs have been this year, the fact he had a settled squad that didn't go through a transition in the summer and how well he knows all of them, I personally think he's done an awful job this season. It's been handed on a plate to them.
They might still win it, they should be way out in front considering though.

because the madrid job is a joke.
why would he go somewhere where he has little chance of success, lots of politics and player power?
why? the fact the zidane comes out with bullshine like "me and ronaldo knows he's the best player in the world" speaks volumes about that club imo
