We can pick and choose the league , which should far and away be out main priority this season given the position we are in.
How many more lessons do you need before you admit that Thursday games mess us up for Sunday ? Years and years and years of evidence and people just ignore it
Squad isn't yet strong enough for that. It will be one day. But not yet. The more likely scenario if we do what you say is win in extra time v fiorentina and then lose v Swansea. Or fack them both up

----------------------------------------------------------------------
By who ? Has hit us a few times this season. As it does every season
Just back from WHL, and a poor performance. I agree, all this about utilising squad. The nonsense will be used about playing after the Europa League. Garbage, it was an excuse. Simply the squad players like Bentaleb, Mason, Onamah, Vorm, etc are simply not good enough. Poch did not make it any easier by making some shocking subs.
And don't get me started on Danny Rose.
Sky
Some clubs did a little better, some a little worse some exactly the same. I think spurs were nett no impact.
Statistically it's a non issue apparently
So.....we should play the same X1 in every game?

How can we "choose" the league? As far as I am aware we are not gong to be given the title because we say we want it.
My point is that as much as there is a chance that we could win the league, there's also a distinct possibility that we don't win it. Therefore, to put all our eggs in one basket does not provide any guarantees.

That's him out for West Ham and Arsenal then
I heard fans saying they were glad we didnt score a late goal because it would mean another match. That's laughable really! Wanting to exit a tournament because it may lead to another game.
Walker was very average. His delivery is quiet poor and most of the crosses never pass the first man.
Alli wasn't good today either. Lost it quiet often and very lacklustre. I was West Stand closer to Palace fans and couldn't see how Kelly managed to squeeze it through.
Most of all, the ref today completely forgot he brought cards with him. The number of times Palace fouled players and got away with it was a joke.
Unlucky not to score first half - need to beat Fiorentina. Losing it will be bad for our game against Swansea.
I haven't seen the goal but I heard it was near post. Was it vorms fault ? Vorm is absolutely useless in my opinion
What Poch has been doing so far has been about right; resting some key players here for one competition and some key players for the other. As far as the league is concerned though, we shouldn't be resting our undroppable players until absolutely necessary. I'm talking Aldy, Dier, Lloris, Dembele. I'm becoming less sure about Kane as his form has dropped off recently.

Strongest teams or rotating; which one is it?
Poch needs to go full strength midweek, to ensure getting through in the Europa. Pretty well par for the course today really, mass rotatation always ends in Spurs not winning. Each game needs to be treated as a cup final now, and that will included midweek against Fiorentina. And let`s hope fecking Danny Rose aint anywhere near the team. He is brainless. Davies must be wondering what he has to do to nail down a permanent place, clearly a better full back. And Bentaleb needs to be moved on, nowhere near good enough.
Team for Fiorentina, and for the rest of the season provided no injuries, with one or two interchanging. The rest can go on their holidays.

Well lloris is overrated IMO. Very good keeper but he makes plenty of mistakes
Pooch and his team are capable of being beaten on any given day just like any other side. Some Spurs fans have been mixing something in their Kool-Aid recently that tells them something different. Their 3 trophy season is now a 2 trophy season and there's plenty of time to make it a 0 trophy season.
However, Spurs are much more exciting to watch than the Gunners. Watching Arsenal play is as exciting as watching paint dry.

Where's the contradiction? Most fans and pundits agree that Poch's rotation of lour fullbacks has not weakened us. In fact I think it's a strength that for the two positions that require quite a lot of energy we are strong in both areas in terms of backup.

I thought he had you but fair comeback
Only rotate where it doesn't weaken you any/much
To be honest, Kane was one of our most disappointing players today. He is undoubtedly first XI, but wasn't at the races at all really.
It was a pretty strong line up - barring Dier (at CB anyway), Bentaleb and Onomah. Vorm couldn't be helped.
Bad day at the office. It happens. Move on, go again
Vorm was not at fault it was a hard shot into the upper corner, he had little chance.
I thought we did enough to deserve a victory, Palace created next to nothing, they rode their luck at times and it was their day, they were overdue a good result and as usual it is Spurs that ended their bad run.
I thought referee was far too lenient also, several times Palace players comitted deliberate fouls to stop Spurs counter attacking, and no cards were produced. Had Palace players been given yellows in the first half especially, it means they would be more careful in the tackle for the rest of the game.
