Agreed, there is no one left to play in the premier league in the same league as Barca. That should be the template for every game now until the end of the season, and we should take the league. I thought Coquelin, Ramsey, Monreal. Koscielny, Bellerin and Cech were very good.

Because Wenger always makes the same mistakes, not game after game, but season after season.

What if he didn't..?

For me it was a typical Barca performance.
Keep the ball, keep patient, then a chance will come.
They are the opposite of Real who want to go full throttle from kick off and put games to bed.

Oh fack off. I've criticised us plenty this season, this was a good performance we just lacked ruthlessness.

I got $hit for saying we were lucky vs. Bournemouth.

I said 1-0 was maybe the fair result.

Blaming Mert for both goals is very harsh. He did a lot of good work and it could have been far worse without him.

just watched the highlights, Suarez missed 3 absolute sitters, could have been much worse

It was very even up until 1-0.

Even before that they started getting chances but only because we knew we had to get the goal to stand a chance.

I said before the game, Giroud needed to display some above average finishing. against teams like this, you really need to take your half chances. You need something a little bit special, but we just don't have it at the moment. Alexis is capable, but his form is just horrible.

I'm not laying all the blame on giroud here. Ox had our only clear cut chance and he completely fooked it. But we can't rely on open goal tap ins all the time.

Good article and I agree with it. We gave them a good game. We didnt take our chances and you cant do that against that team. Cant fault anyone. Good team performance.

Giroud actually played pretty well (apart from the ghost pass at 0-0!) and although Welbeck was put into a pretty dead game he showed some good touches and promise.

I feel good after this game and none of you doom mongers can ruin it

I don't think we played well at all, to be honest. Our ball retention was embarrassing, it was almost as if we were scared to try and play. We did well to keep them out, but a club of Arsenal's stature should be aspiring to achieve a lot more than that.

Sanchez played well first half, died second. Coq I didn't really notice apart from a couple silly ambitious passes but I think he put in some good tackles.

Ramsey played pretty well apart from a couple of errant passes.

Özil showed some class at times but not involved enough, performed well in the team.

Can't be bothered to go through the team because it was a good team performance, just lacked that crucial quality.

I watched Las Palmas play Barcelona on Saturday, they were a hell of a lot more brave than we were, they looked better than we did too.

We were the better team for most of the first half and if you can't see that then you should stop watching football.

They hardly pressed Arsenal today at all. They weren't at their best, trust me. A bit of composure shown by Arsenal would have been nice.

That's the thing though, Barca didn't look like they were trying that hard against us. Going through the motions until we made mistakes
