for 12mill he is an astutue buy. For £12million you cannot get a starter good enough for chelsea. We tried very hard to get modric and were short in this area with the departure of benayoun/

No, I think he should be starting when he comes back from injury and if Lampard is still in the form he's in now. He was one of Liverpool's best players last season and would really help us dominate midfields

differing opinions i guess, but in my opinion he is nothing more than a squad player

I know he's hardly a flash player but you're underestimating what he'd bring to this current midfield and under-rating him as a player.
