Didn't you just bring in an international manager?
I don't think him being an international manager really has any relevance, to be honest.

Darren,
Yes Guus was an international manager but I go back on my previous view that I'd like him be our permanent manager, The more I think of it I'm not sure Hiddink would fill me with confidence. He's a stop gap manager who was brought in to galvanise the group.
It may have no relevance but I'm more confident with a manager in charge who is used to play week in, week out rather than every other month.
He manager for seven years at club level prior to taking over Italy. He's clearly used to it.
This isn't like Sampaoli, where I'd understand the point.
Purely speculation but apparently Conte wants Radja Nainggalon. That could spell the end for Mikel. I really want to us to give Matic a chance to recover his best form which IMO he'll do. He's different gravy on form.

Never mind Mikel,
it could spell trouble for the guy who prints the names on the shirts.
He likes a 3-5-2 and likes his teams to be solid
-----------------------------------
He used a 3-5-2 at Juve with great success but I don't think it's set in stone that he always plays that way. From what I understand he's quite an adaptable manager who sets his teams out to suit the players he has available, hence the 3-5-2 he used for some of his time at Juve.

He used and uses 3-5-2 because of the personnel. He's doesnt have a system set in stone and from what I read/hear he seems to adopt to the players that he has.
Conte is also like Mourinho obsessed with detail and drills his players to perfect the system.

Guus was never long term at aged 70
I'd love a team playing 3-5-2 what a breath of fresh air that'd be
hopefully he'll come in and inject more pace into the team...either using what we have or buying someone like Bale
Bale is going to United or staying put. Willian and Hazard on the wings is enough pace I just hope we bring in someone in the mould of Vidal, Nainggolan, Kante. Someone who sniffs out trouble and is energetic. Ramires with a brain basically.

Mahrez...or payet...they'd do
All the rumours point to him very keen on sorting out the CM positions - Pogba, Vidal, Nainggolan, etc.

I don't think you have got a chance of getting Pogba, not this summer anyway. He's Barc, Madrid or City bound as things stand.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I doubt we'll get Pogba but with Conte in charge we'll definitely have increased our chances seeing that it was Conte that brought Pogba to Juve and helped him develop into the star he is today.
More importantly it looks like we'll be signing a couple of CM's this summer and that can only be a good thing because it's been the weak link in this side for too long.
