Stupid, stupid, stupid.

F1 really needs to get back to what it is supposed to be about. Drivers and cars. Give the tech guys more freedom and the cars will have more different characteristics.

Do we really want to see a driver lose a championship because he has been caught out in qualifying?

The fastest guy over a lap is on pole, simple.
Design a car no bigger than X by Y.
Engine, up to you, nitous, turbo, super, blaady anything.
If Bernie wants entertainment he should either go to Vegas or push the boat out and give drivers ramdom 10 second penalties if the race is boring... Not serious btw

Having very few regulations sounds good, but who ever takes it in the correct direction would probably win every race that season

Thought it sounded terrible when I first heard it but it does seem like it may shake up the grid and may well make qualifying more of an interesting spectacle for the fans even if it is a gimmick. Not long until we find out.

It is a gimmick but one that could work as the pressure to put in a solid lap will come into play.

Would like to see it happen first before I make a final judgement.
