But surely every lower league team's aim would be to get promoted & better themselves. I'm sure a League Two side would want to play League One, a League One side would want Championship football & you being a Forest fan, would love to be playing Premiership football next year?

I dont see the point in playing sport if you dont want to be the best.

Settling for second place, second tier, or whatever, shouldn't be an option in my book.

I just wonder what mhammers opinion will be should West Ham reach the play-offs, for example, i wonder if he'll want his team to lose so they can stay in The Championship.

myhammers

Dont lie myhammers, you were losing the Premiership > Championship debate when you decided to come out with your comment.

I have provided the link to the article for all to see.

Sorry, but you cant use wriggle out of this one & play the "didnt say it" card.

As i said on that article, you could always apologise for posting such a stupid comment or live with the fact you posted it. As no apology is forthcoming, you have clearly decided to stand by the comment.

myhammers,

And i have deleted your comment as you have failed to address Spurs' ground by the correct name. If you use the correct name, i will allow your post to stay.

strettea red.................................Cheper tickets?? Not at West Ham apparently!!

Chicken....................................myhammers tries to wriggle out of everything, he has even said that by buying Parker Spurs have bought a Championship player.............................................totally disrespectful to a player who almost singlehandedly kept them up, if only a few others had contributed WHU might no be in the lower division!!

greaves,

mhammers has made himself look stupid by taking his West Ham bias too far, now he's trying to make me look as though i've taken something out of context, i haven't at all, the article is there for everyone to see.

mhammers clearly tried to win the bragging rights for West Ham by claiming he would rather West Ham play in the Championship.

Now this opinion has been put in the spot light, in the form of an article, he is massively trying to backtrack.

For as long as JA606 is open (for a very long time i hope), mhammers now knows he will be on the back foot because of this comment.

Hopefully this will make him think before posting comments he knows to be completely outragious & opinions that are shared by none.

While there's a few Spurs already on the West Ham board I'd like to ask - do you expect Diouf to turn up any time soon?

Chicken,

Some of your Spurs fans on 606 confirmed that it's highly unlikely for Spurs to get into top 4 again. Is this the general feeling amongst fans, or is this fan in the minority?

Mafia,

I think the general feeling has always been that its not going to be easy but i dont see any reason why it cannot happen. The squad is certainly good enough thats for sure.

Can we be consistent enough to do it? We'll have to wait & see.

Chicken

You have good enough squad but your feeling is you would not reach top4.

There must be either you have an incompetent manager or your general feeling is wrong? Which one is it Chicken?

Mafia,

Football is far too unpredictable to give promises on such things.

I have said i believe we can do it, with the squad & manager we have, but football is a funny old game. Some you win, some you lose - whether you deserve to or not.

I'm not sure what else you want from me.

Reaching top4 is a knock out competition?

posted on 1/9/11

Nope. The Premiership is a league of 20 teams. Each team plays eachother twice.

posted on 1/9/11

That should be 38 games if I am not mistaken. How many games you think you can win this season. I mean your 'general feeling'?

posted on 1/9/11

Hard to say. Between 19 & 21 i suppose.

How many draws you are expecting this season, again general feeling? I mean in the PL

MafiaBoy

Are you honestly expecting me to predict how many draws Spurs will have in a season?

What next, yellow cards, red cards, corners & throw-ins?

posted on 2/9/11

If you are predicted 19-21 wins in a season then why not draws?

posted on 2/9/11

Mafia,

Because wins are easier to predict than draws.

Ask any bookie.
