There's no real reason for him to come out. He'll take plenty of stick from opponents and opposition fans over it. Its not as if he will need to improve his bank balance, he already has plenty. He might get more sympathy and an award or two, but for all the good an award will do for him, he may as well shove it up his *rse.

I'm confused to how this article went to Ronaldo's sexuality...
He shouldn't have publicly made any comments at all, but let's be honest it all comes from his frustration. His time at Real Madrid has never been the fairytale story he would want it to be and it must hurt knowing no matter how good you are, how many goals you score, how many statistics you break, you're not playing for the best club in Spain and you'll never be regarded as the very best.

No, cause Kim is talentless and Ronaldo is one of the greatest players ever and is quite a nice guy, charitable and probably does more for those in need than 99% of people on here.

No doubt CR is a brilliant footballer and that KK is a talentless whatever it is that she purports to be. I was comparing and referring more to his self obsessive persona and lack of respect and appreciation to his teammates.
For instance, the way he celebrates an easy tap in after all the hard work has been done by other players. You very rarely see him in that situation go and thank the provider of his goal as he would rather do his look at me celebration as if he had just scored a wonder goal all by himself. His body language when others score often seems begrudging and he doesn't join in the ensuing celebration with much enthusiasm. It's those sort of things that put me and others off him and undermines his status. You could say these are petty points but in a team game things like these matter in my opinion.
His comments today after a disappointing defeat in which he hardly contributed much will also not win over any new admirers. Totally disrespectful to his teammates, no excuse.
