Nothing changes. Fact is Lerner wants out (supposedly) but to get out needs somebody to come up with the right cash to buy the cash.
Is he asking to much Not sure. Somebody has just paid £200m for a 49.9% stake in Everton; on that basis Lerner's £150m price is reasonable even taking into account our current consideration. Also, it's high enough to dissuade the cowboys.
I think we'll remain dodgy while he's in charge. On the other hand, what matters in the immediate future is whether or not Hollis can improve matters in the club, or whether it'll be another dead end shambles. I'm prepared to see what happens in the summer because there isn't any other choice.
