He's been pretty bad for most of the season tbh
Had a poor start then an excellent 6/7 games then poor again
The only good thing is that he gives his all in what ever form he's in and will never give up.

its fair to raise the issue.
i wouldn't drop Kane.. but he has been out of form for a while now.
luckily we have lots of players who can score goals.
I look forward to the reintroduction of Njie when he is back fit (anyone know when?) as he gives us a very different option off the bench.

would be a good option for some depth to our squad during our very busy april
I would agree it's not been the best of seasons for him as a striker. He's at least been consistent with his play outside the box though. Can't fault his hold up and link up play in general for the whole season. He just isn't very prolific, which I do partly think is down to how we play which encourages him to drop deeper.
He really needed some help with another forward. Looking tired to me.
Would play Chadli up top in the Dortmund games.
Shows how good he is when people are saying he's had a bad season with 16 prem goals. We all know his link up play and work rate are top class too.
Chadders is a more than capable deputy

I wouldn't say bad, merely ok. Then again I'm judging him on how he was last season. If I wasn't I'd say he was having a pretty good season.
I wouldn't underestimate what having a forward of his quality does for everyone else.
Sides will double mark him (freeing up someone else) back off if he has the ball, etc.
Even when Aguero is in a slump, no one is stupid enough to ignore or underestimate him.
I actually think his decision making has been poor.
He can be very greedy which results in missed opportunities.
Also, today he could have played Walker back post with his left instead of cutting it, using his right and allowing Walker moment to take him offside.
Its a shame we dont have another legit striker. It would have helped us immensely.
All this and he has fifteen goals in his last eighteen PL appearances. Not bad.

You would think so with the chances we create.
This is the argument I have with Kane. Very good player no doubt but I think that because he has scored lots of penalties many people have failed to pick up on his fairly modest goal scoring record from play this season
I don't think penalties should be counted for golden boot, scoring records, etc.
If they just called them penalties as a separate stat, I reckon you'd get a fair few different pen takers as well
It's 5 pens in the league
Just bang a few in the next games Harry and put this to bed.
Hi work rate and his hold up play is always second to none, however i do think attacking wise he has been a bit off recently.
He'll be back to normal soon, he is a wonderful player.
The thing is Kane is pretty much guaranteed to start every game, and having no other legit striker means there is nobody to keep him on his toes. A little bit of healthy competition for him might do him some good.
He is tired and jaded both physically and mentally. No surprise really considering the amount of games he has played and having the onus of leading the line with no cover for him. His spark is missing. Also as Spurtle said above a bit of healthy competition would do him some good and maybe keep him more focused. Another top striker in the squad would also help in his development by having someone in his role to learn from.
Sorry park lane geezer but according to the fountain of knowledge that is sandy, fatigue and tiredness doesn't actually exist. They are made up concepts
