I honestly think he'll quit.

Why do people put so many posts on AFC Telford page?

When you create the article via smartphone it keeps tagging AFC

You know something's wrong when even Paul Merson can state the obvious.

Guy is too adamant and egoistic to quit. We are stuck with him for atleast 2 more seasons.

Why Merson saying Leciester or Spurs ?? no excuse if we don't win the the title...city has been avg this season.

If Spurs end up winning the league then the fan backlash will be too much surely, I don't think any Arsenal fan would be able to stand it, especially given all of Wenger's money excuses over the years. The atmosphere would be poisonous.

Yeah Spurs winning it will probably tip the scales.

The backlash from the fans and media will be to difficult for the board to ignore

I, and quite a few others, made this point weeks ago. If either of those teams win the title this year ahead of us, it'll show Wenger up for the fraud I've long believed him to be - collecting titles and honors in a league where his strongest managerial competition came from the likes of John Gregory, Jim Smith, David O'Leary and Gianluca Vialli.

He won't quit, so if it does happen, he should be sacked, simple as.

He'll not be sacked

The problem is now that because of this blind faith in AW the club hasn't gone for a manager like PG who could of taken the club onto the next level

Who is actually out there to not only replace AW but turn the bunch of soft centered wimps into hardened winners?

And a certain Sir Alex.

So if we don't win it..let Spurs win it? atleast Wenger will leave ??

Sir Alex is overrated, he didn't guide Utd to the CL knockouts 12894098 years straight. Winning is secondary, it's the taking part that counts.

I think its clear to all by now that AW will not leave

The fans should force the issue by actions....stop going, stop paying the ridiculous prices, demand a change, eventually the board will have to listen

I don't know, can criticise Wenger for many things, certainly in the past few years, but I don't think you can question his love for the club - I do genuinely believe if he thinks it's for the best he'd walk away.

I can see him doing it if Spurs or Leicester do win it, too. Core of the squad is quite old, there's no real talents coming through bar maybe Bellerin and requires at least 5 signings just to replace outgoing players in the summer - really not sure if he has the appetite for that

posted on 29/2/16

With £8 million or whatever ridiculous money he's been taking each year he's got the 'appetite' and really 'loves' the club

He's smart enough to know he has the easiest job in football!

posted on 29/2/16

What makes Wenger stay at Arsenal, where he could have easily landed jobs at Madrid, PSG etc. big clubs? any reason you can think of apart from Money and stability at Arsenal?

If he loves our club so much then why is he feking us over and over again?

Thoughts?

He knows that he can achieve the bear minimum and get lauded for it rather than challenged on the reality of his 'achievements'

At another club it simply wouldn't happen and he'd of been removed

posted on 29/2/16

There probably is an element of that, in terms of not wanting to take a risk of failure somewhere else, but I genuinely don't think you can listen to him talk about Arsenal and say it's just a job to him.

Not disagreeing with the other stuff, it's looking more and more like he should have walked away after the FA Cup win vs Hull, just about why he's here.

Quit? you must be mad, who quits a 8mil a year job. He wont be sacked either, no way on earth, so get used to him being manager for at least next season.

anyone who thinks differently is deluding themselves.

Best chance we have is the club don't renew his deal after next season, and you know they will offer him an extension. I only hope he has the good grace to not sign it.

Rumour has it he has been offered that extension for 2 years and has indeed signed it.
