My first thought is that this could be more significant for Watford away than West Brom at home. However, I expect the squad - be that King, Inler or Amartey - to step up and show what they're made of.

I don't think we will really miss him too much in those games, we will have more of the ball and will be spending less time taking it off them in the final third.

We have the players to cope against WBA and Watford. If we were playing Southampton and West Ham then I'd think it would be a real blow but not for these games.

Come on Leicester! Wishing you all the very best!

A big blow for us, but I think we will be fine. Would like to see Amarty in his natural position so we get to see what he's about. Expect to see King as Inler can't even make the bench these days!

Good point arro. It's possibly less important against teams set up to stop us scoring....

He does offer us something going forward as well. I don't see inler stepping up to be honest and would rather we try amartey over king

What happened to Inler? Was a good player I thought, has he just not settled in the PL?

I don't think WBA will set up to stop us scoring, not parking the bus type play at least.

What concerns me slightly is that it seems Kante was played despite already being injured in training, it was an awful risk that could have left him missing the rest of the season.

I really want to see Amartey in there and I think it's the perfect game for him to play.

Another home game is good for his confidence because of familiarity, which is important at a new club, an away game could have been daunting but he'll feel settled enough after that.

WBA aren't going to play the ball around us, it wouldn't be like him playing against Arsenal for example, their midfield is physical and that is a battle he will certainly do well in.

I think his physical presence could be more important than Kante for this one. Brings another threat in the air too so set pieces could be key.

From Ranieri's press conference, it looks like King will get the nod.

One of the things I noticed about Amartey on Saturday was that he wasn't sure where his teammates would be and that slowed the moves down quite a bit. As such, I'd have concerns over whether that was right to unlock West Brom's defence as we'll likely have to act very quickly to get in behind them. He'd be an interesting option for Watford though, particularly if we failed to get a positive result midweek.

Inler's struggled with the pace of the league. He's improved a bit over time but he'd likely make too many positional mistakes in a midfield 2.

When you're up against the Uruk-hai of Tony Pulis you must win the second ball. They play off the knockdowns, put the replacemetn for Kante in front of Huth and Morgan and have him look to get control of every second ball and you should be ok.

It’s a big loss as playing Kante in a midfield two is a bit like having a midfield three. We have other options and possibly the option of changing formation but, at this stage, I’d change as little as possible. He’s not my favourite player (sorry Dunge), but I’d go with the safety and security of Andy “the ghost” King.

Amartey is young, new to us, new to this league and new to this country. I’m surprised that so many people have seen enough of him for FC Copenhagen to be convinced he can step in for a PL title charge so soon. Of course he might do so and he might be brilliant, but I’m just a little surprised that people have this confidence.

Kante will be a huge miss I think. How could he not be with the quality he has.

King should come in centre mid and Simpson for Amartey. This should help with set pieces as well.

Kingy for me. Pity to lose Kante but this gives a test of the squad.

I think the result of this game almost entirely depends on how we approach it. If it's like most games this season I worry, if it's more like Palace I'm very much looking forward to it
