Good points Dubai but I think the other night he didn't have much choice, let's see what he does Saturday, the anti Evans brigade do tend to brush the facts under the carpet.
This mindset that Wootton can cover right back is laughable just because he's been played there.
He is a cover central defender... That's it.
Bamba is just gone. Lost of completely and he cannot handle any pace.
My memo
Fook off your horrible grotesque self indulging fooker
Revie,
He is the manager, its his job to get results.
look at LVG; injury crisis, gets results. brings 18 year old through whos scoring goals.
Evans should look at stokes. 5 in 4.
the facts show we have won one in eleven.
I'd have Stokes on the bench from this point, give him game time
much rather have a lad who is scoring goals in the team over this lot of muppets.
My memo would ask him what possessed him to start with only one attacker in the team, why he put a young kid who's a right back on the wing and why he played a useless CB at RB.
I'd be looking at the youth team for a striker I think, I don't know how good they are but every youth player we put in the first team seem to perform.
How many managers have played Wootton at right back now?
I find it a very strange one as always have and always will believe in players playing in their best position or not at all.
Good points above but in order to do it he needs Dallas and Berardi fit.
Would we risk bringing Wood back if hes not yet right? It looks like he came back too early last time. Another tweak and its a season ender.
Think we all agree Wood, Bellusci, Dallas and Carylol would improve on the side that started at Brighton.
I've got into a few disagreements over Wootton. I don't rate him. Never have. But was told he always put in a shift. That's great. But, when you have Berardi back and you have a true right back in Coyle who needs game time, it borders on madness to keep Wootton in there. P 1 ss poor management.
I was all for giving Wootton a run at CB. After last few games, I'd rather he sit and wave goodbye to him in the summer.
