Who is better out of Aguero and Costa isn't that clear cut.

There's no denying Aguero is far more accomplished technically and probably better in most departments with the ball at his feet (not so in the air), but I don't think the impact of Costa's dark arts should be understimated. I've always despised this kind of player, but for some reason unknown to me I actually find Costa fun.

As a question for Chelsea fans, how many of you thought he should be handed his P45 during the Mourinho slump, and how many still want him gone?

Aguero's only weakness is injuries...otherwise...

Absolutely elated to have our Diego back. Wouldn't go as far as saying he's best in the league though - Aguero is undoubtedly better. I would say Costa and Kane are just about on par with each other.

But having the joint second best striker in the league is no mean feat at all! Remember the season of Torres, Eto and Ba as our strikers and the subsequent frustration of lack of firepower?

We have done so well get Costa and long may he continue to provide us with joy! Love the guy.

Costa's game means that when he isn't good is not scoring he's usually not doing much and just frustrates our supporters while with other strikers like Sturridge, Suarez, Aguero they still contribute quite a lot to how their teams play and also still threaten goal (all more capable of shooting outside the box and creating extra yard of space in and around box than Costa). So I don't think he's better than Aguero.

But when he is good and scoring, high on confidence there's not a lot in Europe better IMO.

Traore, I agree. Costa ain't quite number 1 in the world. I reckone I'd have suarez and ibra over him. Aside from that though, no one else.

I'd agree he's arguably one of the best, IMO Aguero is the best, He's the one guy who looks like he's gonna score anytime he gets near the box. He never creates a fuss and just gets on with it.

Costa on form however, Is just behind aguero and ahead of Sturridge, Lukaku, Kane, Berahino and Vardy etc.

Aguero is pretty comfortably ahead of Costa

Think your logic is pretty terrible in terms of saying Aguero doesn't score more goals when on form than Costa on form does considering they've been in the same league for two years and Aguero out scored him last year and is on the way to doing it this year. Either Aguero is better on form or Costa only shows up for a few months a season considering how many more games he plays than Aguero.

Wouldn't take any other PL striker over Costa though, Aguero the only one.

Bro, costa was injured loads last year and he couldnt do shiiit for most of this year when cesc, hazard and that priiick oscar weren't doin shiiiit for him in terms of service. Thats why agueros scored more.

He played more games than Aguero last season, injury has nothing to do with it, Aguero is just the superior player.
