Nothing can be proven but cmon a man of that stature with no exit plans? He probably had 100 back up plans and destination where he could enjoy retired life with cockandtail in one hand, german ho in the other.

If you believe that Hitler was in Berlin at the time of the war's end, and there's no reason not to IMO, then you have to consider the logics of the most notorious individual in the world being smuggled out of a city surrounded by opposition troops, being taken to the sea and then onto a submarine which made it out across the Atlantic which was still being patrolled by the allies.

I know some National Socialist's (other word is banned apparently!) got out to South America but I'd guess they probably weren't in Berlin at the time of the fall. Most seem to be associated with the camps which apparently people fled when Russian troops got close (such was their brutal reputation).

Never say never but I'd say this was extremely unlikely.

Well he would have been tried in line with the post war trials of surviving Naz's. So take the Nuremberg trials and look the rulings/convictions from there that would applied to Hitler's own personal actions as leader
