If Arsenal arrive at WHL as underdogs they will be more dangerous.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
They have this knack of rising like Lazarus when a crisis is imminent, especially at this time of the season. Think it was 3 years ago when us and Blackburn beat them within a week, they then went and won in Munich and stole 4th back off of us
i suppose you have to bear in mind that we had the toughest game by far,

Anfield after 120 minutes on Sunday was probably just as hard if not a harder fixture... Come on even you can admit that.
Great week for the league though, who would have thought that Leicester's point last night was a point gained not 2 dropped!
Can't wait for the NLD.
If we are on our game Sat I'm confident we will win. The fact we lost tonight will make us even more determined. Arsenal seem to be feeling the pressure and if we go ahead I just cannot see them beating us.
As for tonight's defeat I put that down to a combination of things. The conditions, the state of the pitch, the early goal conceded and the manic performance by WH made for a level game and unfortunately this time we couldn't get the equaliser and get back in the game.
Chronic me ode mucka ! How you doin' ?
Shame you blew it tonight as it would have made the run in even more exciting than it already is.
Never mind, 10 games to go so all is not lost.
How's Dorothy (Don) doin' ? Is he still cwoss dwessing? . Bet he's pisssed off !
Cooee Dowothy... Are you feelin' glum?
We did you a favour last night and you bottled your chance !

We did make 5 changes though, they only made a couple including the keeper.
I think their outfield 11 was the same minus Toure, Clichy and Sagna.
You'll be six points off top after the weekend. The bubble has burst. Still, top four will be a good season for you guys.

top 4 was the aim at start of season. so yes, yes it would.
and i very much doubt you believe arsenal will come to WHL and beat us.. they just struggled v man u under 21s and swansea's reserves.
We have our differences but Spurs have been fantastic all season and throughly deserve the CL and I hope you do well in it.
Now be a sport and let Liverpool win the Europa...

Night games, both stadiums will be absolutely rocking and I think form will absolutely go out the window.
United also play in between the two fixtures and have something to play for in the league. I'm not hugely confident as its United but I think we can maybe put them out.
Derby games present a different challenge to the normal league schedule and the form book usually goes out the window. To be honest, I would put my money on a draw, but I don't think Arsenal will lose. Their results will pick up going into the end of the season (although I expect more twists and turns) and the NLD could be the catalyst for that.

Before Tuesday I would have taken a point from West Ham.
This was assuming:
Leicester would hopefully draw, but more likely would win at home
Arsenal would probably win at home
City could get anything at Anfield.
Other results really coudnt have got better for us.
Arsenal and Leicester taking a single point between them at home to bottom half sides is fantastic. It's a shame we couldn't capitalise, but if we'd just lost at Villa instead of West Ham it'd be different.
That's a big toughie out of the way for us, and easier home fixtures gone for those two.
Can go top with a win on Saturday, put 6pts between us and 3rd, and drag Arsenal in to a scrap with City, United, West Ham and Liverpool, with two favourable fixtures to follow for us - Bournemouth and Villa
Very worst case scenario, we will still be 2nd after the weekend, and 6pts off of top - with two of our derbies gone

I wouldn't be surprised if we lost by a single goal on Saturday! Of course we can win, but as Harry's not in top form we can't really rely on any other players to score except Alli and Chadli!
I agree with you Chronic, it was a poor performance from us. West Ham were the better team and deserved to win - why? Bilic's tactics were spot on, he had to make changes after we thrashed them 4-1 at WHL. They only had 35% possession but always looked more likely to score and made sure we hardly had any clear cut chances on goal - we desperately needed Alli to start the match, to be more creative when going forward. And Dembele was a big loss as he would've strengthened up our midfield. Dier's played well for us as DM this season but Dembele is one reason why we've been able to even be title challengers.
I think even more now there's next to no chance of us winning Premier League this season, but I really hope we finish in top 3 to avoid Champions League play off!
To be honest, if Leicester don't win it, I hope you guys do.
It would be nice to see someone other than the regulars clinch the title for once.
