Platinum games

I got the platinum trophy for Infamous and Assassin's Creed II, as both had fun trophies that required you to use unique mechanics and could all be completed entirely in single-player.

I haven't completed any other game to platinum as they're either grindfests (i.e. do this same thing 50 times) or require you to play unreasonable amounts in a half-arsed multiplayer. I started on Driver San Francisco, got all of the offline trophies (they were fun) and then tried the online ones... those were not fun.

I enjoyed getting the Bloodborne platinum. I've about 16 now, only started getting interested in trophies a few years ago.

Never really cared.

I would be interested in doing the fun ones but too much hassle imo to find out what to do. Only ones i got a little interested in the Halflife 2 ones, cos lets be honest how can you not:

Like Simon trophies have never interested me, I have never platinumed anything or felt the need to, although it is nice to be playing a game and see I have earned some random trophy, even if I have no idea why or will ever bother looking to find out.

trophies don't bother me....unless a friend of mine has one then for some reason I have to outdo him

Question, and maybe one of you guys are in a better position to answer it. Is there an "easy way" to see trophies and trophy progression?

I'm no expert on trophies Simon, but there is a trophy section on your xmb, it tells you what you have and still to do.

That was my belief Amiga, but just felt this was too much hassle. I like doing stuff that is clearly shown in game. So i liked doing the stuff in tomb raider, or assissins creed etc. But if i need to jump out the game and then scroll through my games and then find stuf it really breaks the immersion for me, and this is why inoften dont bother.

Never even looked at the trophies to be honest.

Its just one of those annoying things that pop up in the corner once every so often whilst I am playing a game.

Trophies mean about as much as a users steam score.

I have one platinum for 'Tales from the Borderlands', all you have to do for it is finish the game. That's it.

One of my mates has about 32 platinum trophies he buys brand new games and don't unwrap them until his completed the game he was originally playing is done .

Fair play to him but I don't have that level of didication .

Buy him "The Stanley Parable" on Steam; it'll drive him nuts.

I have 4 platinums... Assassins Creed 2, Assassins Creed Unity, Assassins Creed Sydicate and Far Cry 4.

I like to get platinums but some games are just impossible to plat, FIFA can be extremely hard.
Assassins creed is quite an easy game to platinum as a lot of the trophies are story based and set you on your way.
