I think Bernat is quite clearly a better footballer than Alonso. Couple years younger yet is the one that gets involved for Spain. Alonso obviously a good player but still.

for
Nzonzi/Gagliardini + Marcelo/Auba + Koke + Munir

Koke and Auba would obviously improve you imo, even if you don't want Koke I'm sure you could use him to get some pretty top quality CMs, likewise Gagliardini is very well sought after if you wouldnt use him yourself. Would argue that in Marcelo/Auba you're getting the best player in the deal.

Nah i fully accept your offer is excellent Khedira and Fabregas are quality players, hence why it only really depends on Costas future which given he's not accepted the contract Chelsea offered him seems certain

I was having a go at trying to make my offer sound poor, the lack of any negotiation at all, and then obviously negotiating with others.
