Evina comes on for Taylor-Sinclair.
Yet another corner to Shrewsbury. Whalley takes and it is cleared by Tyson.
Rovers attacking and now a Rovers corner, they should have done better from the break. Williams heads the ball onto the roof of the net. Still 0-1.
.McCullough plays a suicide pass back to Stuckmann, gets away with it. Now Evina attacks, and the ball comes to nothing.
Getting very worrysome now.
Stewart comes on for Calder.
Smith heads just wide of Stuckmann's post.
Grant appears to be having a bad day today. Not getting his passes in. Rovers attacking to try and get an equaliser.
Wellens takes Stewart down 25 yards out to the centre of the goal.
Stewart to take. hits it to the top corner and is pushed out for a corner.
Four minutes injury time
Corner to Rovers, Stuckmann keeps running up and down the pitch.
Lutweiler booked for time wasting.
Just about ready for the final whistle.
There it goes we have lost again 1-0.
The boos go round the ground. We are now on the slippery slope to League Two.
Just to help the BBC, Rovers have decided to change their name to DONCASTER ROVERS NIL.
10 shots on target. No goals. Same old same old. On the Brightside we'll have a good young team in league two next season.
Was the first half a dream; we seemed well on top. Even in the 2nd Gooch, Calder etc., seemed to be doing well, just making the wrong (confidence-lacking) decisions in the box. Were the officials as bad as we were told?
By the time the 90 were up the commentators seemed to have forgotten how good we seemed to be earlier.
Clearly, on paper we are worse than the previously-20th team. Are we any better than numbers 21-24?
I am beginning to wonder.
Every year one team gets dragged into it. This year could be our turn.
A chain is only as strong as its weakest link.
Unfortunately we've got several.
Sinking ship comes to mind.
Oh dear. Oldham 2 games in hand too
Toothless. Our on-loan (that alone speaks volumes) midfield contains some promising lads but they can't make the sort of chances that Tyson (good) and Williams (poor) need. Pretty possession football isn't cutting the mustard. No-one gets to the by-line and no-one can play through balls down the middle at speed. I'm going to Scunthorpe on Tuesday and if they play like that again my S/T will be going in the drawer, as it will be my last game of the season. I'll pick it up next August with my new S/T - when we are in Div 2. I'm not freezing my nadgers off watching crap.
We have just lost to the worst team to visit us this season.
The first half was quite good but in the second it was as bad as it has consistently been for the last two months.
Surely even azza can see we are in the shino now.
Williams missed a sitter of a header after he got a chance from three yards out. Unmarked as well.
Mandeville was anonymous until he was taken off.
McCullough and Gooch did well.
The goal that won the game was due to Grant ducking under the ball and it went straight in, not off anyone.
Overall, the confidence is sorely lacking and we really need a few experienced players to get us out of the mess we are in.
Three points from the last 27 played for.
I did say that Hound, the first thing was that it hit either Grant or Stuckmann, but further commentary stated that Grant had in fact ducked UNDER the ball.
We could go back to the sdrawing board but I think we have lost that as well. The finger definitely needs to be pulled out.
Well the odriscoll effect is seemingly going down with the Walsall fans as fergie is with us currently. He's been sacked after them slipping down the league!
The highlights showed some decent individual play, but a lack of coordinated teamwork.
Given recent changes in line - up, perhaps not understanding each others' games is not entirely inexplicable, but the extent of getting in each others way was extreme at times.
Individually there are some players who are good at this level, but organisation is severely lacking.
Lack of a leader on the pitch is very obvious.
