Two players commit the same offence. One is booked, one isn't. How does that work?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Sorry D'Jeezus, you are a top poster that that is an embarrassment
Lamela basically brushed Sanchez away but that was it. Sanchez's push was way harder
That said, lanela's reaction was way ott, but no way dodge do anything worthy of a booking
Sanchez did
grandspur no doubt feels Dier shouldn't have been sent off either
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Just like Belerin should have been now you mention it
Dodge = did he
Facking predictive text!
No way could the ref send off Bellerin after he let two blatant reds go. Would have exposed himself way too much.

Lamela going off did it for Spurs, he really puts in a shift, may have been sent off though, so probably the right decision. Chadli was anonymous again.
I am OK though with Spurs being three points in front of Arsenal having played Man City, West Ham and Arsenal in last four matches.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I agree, he covered no ground on the pitch

Love Hugo....but he's not even close to work class.
--------------------------------------------------------------------
Cech made a huge mistake against Swansea. Are people questioning his ability any more because of that one mistake?
Hugo just had a bad day. It happens. He's still world class. Have we forgotten the world class points-earning saves he made against Swansea and City?
Good thing is top four is the objective and we are okay for it
He thinks Lamela deserves a yellow
I thought the whole performance was a bit iffy. We created one decent chance in the entire first half and until the sending off it looked like a nailed on defeat to me.
Hardly call clawing a cross away world class.
I can understand Poch taking Lamela off. He was having a very good game but as he plays at 100 miles an hour and the way he hunts his opponent down he was liable to get a 2nd yellow. Mind you Lamela has got quite a few yellows and managed to not get a red so its a difficult one if it was the correct substitution.
The Game then changed because we made a more defensive sub in Mason and Wenger bought on Giroud, they by-passed our midfield and passed straight into their attackers and got the resulting equaliser.
After we went 2-1 up we needed to take the sting out of the game, slow it down make them run around with our man advantage and just keep the ball.

Like at least two of your players should have been booked for kicking the ball away stop being a typical woolwich fan whining at everything.and looking for excuses every time we dont get the result you want.
Thats football deal with it and there is no way Lamela deserved a yellow for that incident. If you really believe that then you are a fool and I am not arguing the toss with some fool on the internet

Top four was certainly the objective, in fact many of us thought at the start we would finish 5th this season.
Unless we capitulate (touch wood we don't) then top 2 or 3 is a certainty but the way the season has gone we will hardly ever have as good as chance to win the league.
I still think watford will get something out of the game later, i fancy a draw and it will be as you were with leicester still 3 points clear.
Im also hoping the chasing pack, Man U and West ham don't win as we don't want to be looking over our shoulder.
Why on earth will Lamela get a ban?
