I don't know I think your overplaying stokes ability here, shaqiri is mustard and their attackers but diouf and the other black guy they had were woeful. There other cm not great and there back four without shaw cross is average.
We was 1 up and people like Oscar, baba, ivanovic and hazard showed their weaknesses and lacklustre selfs that sum up their season

i have not eaten yet sooooo, chomp
we were second best all round,
imbula ran the show from the first whistle,
Arnie had dave on crumpet all day
we badly missed fabregas(never thought)
Lucky to get come away with a draw as had they had a decent striker,,,,,
mikel and matic doesn't work, please dont try this against psg pls
and remy is a waste of fecking space
----------------------------------------------------------------------
This is pretty much Chelsea at the moment summed up
Chelsea's priority this season is CL and FA run. Notwithstanding, today's result should feel like loss
Imo its perspective, If were to have a realistic hope of winning this game we should have fielded our strongest side, a second string in what ever form would always struggle if we didn't put the game out of there reach.
I think thats where we are at the moment squad wise and Stoke are no mugs decent top ten side .
but the sad fact is it wasnt our second string really and the bit part player(traore) was the one who actually scored. it was the same oscars of this world who sadly get game time
Marko Arnautovic, Bojan, Marc Muniesa, Ibrahim Afellay, Xherdan Shaqiri if you dont recognise these names they are all Champions league winners. They are no pushovers like they used to be. Plus they have imbula, who we were our selves after at one stage, on top of that Courtois is playing shiite at the moment and i remember people saying that he is way better than cech, well our number of clean sheets is nowhere near what they were with Cech.
arnautovic a champions league winner? when? muniesa is terrible, really bad an played like 2ce for barca, i doubt in the CL. Afellay I doubt got a medal and hardly played for barca.
And shaqiri is quality like I said.
No they are not pushovers but they have some very good players and some bad ones.
To say they are all Champions league winners is stretching the truth some what vava.
But 1-0 up against stoke, and we just took our foot of the gas. Also cortious made some good saves today, the worry is how easily we got opened up
nicko
agree with that, and the ease in which they opened us up every time was worrying, if we play mikel and matic psg will murder us.
we have been opened since hiddink took over, the team priorities is going forward more,
our wingers hardly double up to help fullbacks anymore,
we been opened up all season tbh legend, just were keeping the ball better now so teams are not at us all the time. Ball retention for mourinho teams were woeful, Mind you stoke had the ball for what felt like hours today
