. I was pointing out a league one success.
He was bought from a Premier League club though.
So you are changing your argument to suit now
A minute ago you were pointing out he wasn't from a premier league club now he is?
We signed him based on his league one work, i think we can agree on that don't you?
When you look at all the players we have brought in thus far though it is fair to say the ones from the prem have been the biggest disappointment.
I haven't changed my argument. He was not a loan from the Premier League, we signed him.
I have only ever said that Mike Williamson is the last loan we have had from the Premier League that has improved us. I have not said anything about lower league signings, only you and Bute have.
I think it's fair to say that Jenny has had "limited" success wherever he has bought players in from, whether that's from the Prem; Sagbo, Graham, Martinez, Championship; ALF, L1; Byrne, Clarke, Jacobs, Goldy, Wallace, Overseas; vLP or even from our yoof teams, EEL, Evans, McAlinden.
There's no place on God's good earth that Jenny can't find debris.
Wasn't that kind of the point of the conversation.
You responded to my reply to bute that we have had a mare with prem players as well as lower league ones?
Anyway, doesn't really matter, we seem to sign crap whatever the level now.

We have been very poor in the transfer market, but we do use the scatter gun approach of signing as many prospects as possible and hoping a few of them come off.
Out of that list though, I think Martinez would have been a good signing if we had an option to buy. He will be a better keeper than Ikeme in the long term but if we won't have him in the long term, there was no point in putting out a keeper who is more than adequate.
I would also argue that EEL hasn't been a complete flop. When he first came into the team I thought he was poor and was probably his biggest critic. He has noticeably improved as the season has gone on though and if he wasn't injured, I would have no problem with him playing out the rest of the season at centre back even if all options were fit. For once, with Williamson, Batth, Hause and EEL next season, I think we actually have decent cover for a position. You watch Kenny sell one now.
The article was perfectly correct.
What I have difficulty in understanding is with 'The Dingles' being an insignificant irrelevance, why debate with them.
I suspect it will be many years before we see a re-emergence of the occupants of the Custard Bowl.
Is Pulisaurus coxucker,I'm confused?
Has he had Cray Supercomputers working on his new name for 12-24 months,to make sure it can't be turned into anything rude?

I understand where you're coming from BM but sometimes I think it's good to remember where we were and where we could've been if we'd been a club like Wolves. To think we used to be rivals at one point, it's quite hard to imagine being at a similar level now isn't it?
I also think it's important to remember those who are less fortunate than ourselves and try to engage with them in a way they can understand.
It's quite amazing to think that this situation can be traced back to one specific game.

That just isn't true though, this situation stems from not remotely developing a squad in three premier league seasons, allowing it to stagnate.
I'd say Wolves' problems can be traced back to the white elephant. Great view though:

The thing that amazes me is that the new Stan Cullis stand, which cost Wolves £18 million to build, only increased capacity from 29,400 to 31,700. By my reckoning that's £10,600 per extra seat. Since then Wolves have had an average attendance of about 21,000.
Great idea to develop the stadium, just the wrong time to do it.

The 5-1 game was a culmination of sorts, but I've always agreed with Cinci on the particular point he makes about the insufficient squad development.
