A valuable lesson learned.
I miss the days when laying out 20 Neil Ardley's to a street corner dealer was enough to get you a hit on the crack pipe.

Back in the day mans used to jux some of them rich Wimbledon kids for they stickers ya dig? We'd just approach them like it aint nothing and bag all the shinys. Real talk. I remember one fruitful March afternoon I juxed a kid for his David Hirst 3D. I mean kids were crazy for the 3D's. Had mans ready to chunk ya feel me? Straight chunk out the swap pile. But I just rolled up and juxed him. Had dude speechless at the swiftness of the jux.
Clever bro. Murs is my dude.
Been listening to El-P most of the morning, not everyone's taste, but I'm liking it. Oh, and Tame One, too...
Real talk. Artifacts were a sick group back in the day. EL-P a little bit geeky for me but I aint gonna lie 'Cold Vein' still stay in rotation nah mean? Def Jux got some bangers though. Perceptionists, C-Rayz, Murs. Back in the days they ran things ya dig? 'Fantastic Damage' got some crazy beats but mans aint cool with him on the mic. Been feeling like that since the Co Flow days. He sounds mad awkward and all them beats have mans scrambling for the instrumentals.
Yeah, I know what you mean - some of his guest stuff on Aesop Rock, Cage etc is great, mind. And 'No Kings' with Tame One (from I'll Sleep When You're Dead) is amazing, IMO.
But now I've just got some Gil Scott Heron on. Fickle in my old age!...
