Let's hope you're right NFFC.

Some fans will expect us to roll over Preston N.E as a matter of course, irrespective of FFP or our injury crisis.

The problem tonight will be trying to control the midfield.
Lets hope Cohen can have a good sixty minutes. I expect Vaughan not to start, he looked extremely uncomfortable and awkward in that plaster cast on Saturday.

Aloe Vera needs to keep his cool tonight and not throw a tantrum when the opposition try to rough him up. Dexter gets that sort of treatment all the time.

We need to score first tonight to get anything out of the game. Jorge Grant needs to play with confidence and we need fortune on our side.

Good Post.

I'd like to seem the same team and a similar performance to Saturday. Surely we'd have to convert one or two chances if they were repeated tonight. But Dougie rarely plays the same team midweek and Saturday. So maybe a recall for Tesche and/or Cohen. I cant see Dexter starting again so maybe a lone striker, but I'd still like to see O'Grady or McDonagh start..

Ever the optimist I'm going for the trickies to win a goalfest.

I think Oliveira has regressed a little since the unbeaten run ended. Has got very ratty again with opposition defenders like he was earlier in the season when Forest were struggling. Easy pickings for experienced championship defenders and he really needs to sort his head out or the rest of the season could slip away for him.

I would like to see O'Grady start with Oliveira as they are the only two strikers, bar Ward, that appear to be on a similar wavelength from what I have seen. Og is often let down by poor control but has far more involvement in the matches I have seen compared to that shop dummy who someone decided was worth a four year contract a couple of years ago.

Garner will be relishing this return to the CG. Will give Mills and Mancienne a game tonight. PNE have played it a similar way to Forest, albeit with a little more success. I can't see passed a 1-1 draw. It is looking a bit minging weather-wise too so it needs to be an entertaining game for those braving the CG!

Think he was only given that contract as a sympathy vote after that terrible injury he suffered.

O'Grady is on loan!

It's difficult to see how D.F can change things up front, unless the guy from Brazil who has been playing in Thailand gets a green light to sign.

He was talking about Dex.

We are so limited in attacking options.

De Vries, Lichaj, Mancienne, Mills (c), Cohen, Mendes, Gardner, Tesche, Osborn, O'Grady, Oliveira

Evtimov, Jokic, Wilson, Vaughan, Grant, McDonagh, Petravicius

Jokic dropped? Or just rested? Cohen at left back seems a bit unnecessary to me.

Still no Olly Burke, despite the assurances that his injury wouldn't keep him out for long - Vaughan is in despite breaking HIS hand...

I'm quite pleased to see Cohen there. Jokic is as solid as can be but Cohen at his best was flying up the wing and adding an extra dimension to attack. It's just a shame that Gardner has been below par because I can't see who will create chances in the middle today. Got to rely on getting it wide.

Also what has happened to Hobbs?

posted on 8/3/16

I thought Freedman said that Cohen at left back would be too strenuous for him, having just returned to full fitness, then puts him in there at the expense of a very decent left back in Jokic. No idea what's wrong with Hobbs, but we can all rest easy knowing that Wilson is available... (SARCASM)

I guess Cohen has been back long enough to regain at least some of his fitness and LB is his best position.

I guess this might be a trial of sorts, we're probably looking now at next season, and if Cohen can slot back in at LB then we probably won't be looking to keep Jokic.

Hobbs suffered a back spasm last Friday according to one of Doug's interviews.

I can vouch for just how nasty that is make's those muscles around the problem nerve go into permanent clench.

Now Dr Eva needs a job, I'm sure she would be a dab hand on the treatment table. That should fire up morale like a flame thrower?

Ah, thanks for clearing that up RFB. Wasn't it back problems that gave Hobbs so much trouble around the time we signed him?

posted on 8/3/16

Thought that was either a knee injury or a hamstring?

posted on 8/3/16

I'm getting mixed up, it was Lansbury with the back problems wasn't it?

Same ref tonight that sent off David Vaughan for a high kick lower than my knees.

Wilson with the back problems? Hobbs is the man with the glass ankle!

That's it! I knew I'd get it eventually.
