I hope that's all Heb, I worked on a contract in French Guiana many years ago, place was crawling with them, all looking very mean, moody and hard.

I lived next door to an ex FFL. A quiet bloke who kept himself to himself and was very polite and unassuming. One night some gobby teenagers were very silly and taunted him in a typical gobby drunk teenage way.........well, you can guess the rest and one of those teenagers, now 18 years later still has a limp in cold weather.......
